- | 🪼 | -՞ GRADUATION was long as hell. everybody and their speeches, dragging on when they were really talking about a whole lot of nothing, really, noemi was just ready to be done with it.
she'd graduate with her bsn, get her nclex results in a in a month and either have to retake it or finally be able to go get her big girl job, and hopefully her and sukuna keep their stable relationship.
the minute she was lining up because her name was about to be called, she was fidgeting with her hands, her brows knitted together. truthfully, even after doing all that graduation practice in highschool and having gone to college graduations previously for her older siblings, it was awkward walking at her own.
she did all of this, she put in the hard work and passed, 4 years of both hellish and sweet moments she'd never forget.
a deep breath left her lips as she stepped up in the line, a smile forming on her lips at hearing her name be called,
"noemi devora hughes."
loud cheers from a certain section erupted, obviously filled with her family members.
"THAT'S MY SISTERR!" "I KNOW THAT'S RIGHT!"
noemi just started laughing as she walked the stage, shaking hands of the deans and teachers in front of her. she paused to take her picture, gently taking her diploma after then exiting the stage.
she could just tell it was noelani and noemir showing the fuck out yelling like that, and she also knew damn well her parents probably smacked them upside their heads for not just doing a lil 'woo' and sitting their happy asses down.
and she couldn't wait to see them.
after the graduation wrapped up, noemi lingered to take pictures with satoru, suguru, and shoko, just real fast before she went to her own people. now sukuna, she didn't even know where he was. she was guessing with toji, but she didn't know where exactly that was either, so she'd just catch him later.
it'd be the first time he was meeting her family anyway, so she'd wouldn't be all that surprised if he was genuinely avoiding it.
well she thought he was, but as she approached her family, she saw the large pink haired man with them, noelani patting his shoulder with a big smile.
"aw hell." noemi mumbled.
as she began walking over, holding her diploma against her chest, sukuna seemed to immediately turn to her, a slight smile forming on his lips.
noelani and noemir seemed to notice, their heads turning to their younger sister. before she could even get close enough to them, they were bombarding her, noemir holding her up in a hug and noelani quick as fuck to take a video of the two.
