>>Don't go, its not the same when you go<<
Friday is here.
Friday. Friday. Friday.
Niall and I managed to get to the airport on time and we managed to have a quick and peaceful flight. Niall spoke to me through out the entire trip. It was nice. Okay, more than nice. Niall made me laugh the entire time, telling me stories about home. It added to my excitement to meet the rest of his family.
We were having a discussion and his words to me warmed my heart.
"You're an amazing friend,Aria," Niall began "You've been my only really close friend since I moved and I thank you for that." After that,we were landing so we didn't speak about it but it warmed my heart knowing he appreciates me as a friend. And even though we haven't been friends for a very long time but it sure as hell feel like it. I'm myself around Niall. He makes me see things so much more differently and he brings out a side of me that no one besides my family sees. Not even Maya. I like it that way though. I like being myself with Niall. He sees me in the morning when my hair is a mess and I'm frantically knocking on his door for a coffee refill since mine ran out,or when I'm sweaty and gross from my run or even when I'm just relaxing on a Friday night watching movies with my glasses. Not many people see me like that but Niall does and I guess it's because I trust him that I'm not as insecure as I usually am when I'm around him. When I speak I know for sure that he is listening and he gives me his full attention which shows me that he cares. Not many people in my life care. And people can think what they want about Niall and I not knowing each other for very long but I know he cares and I know we're going to be friends for a very long time. He's just that kind of person.Back to the present though,we just about arrived in Niall's home town of Mullingar. It's a cute, small town. Reminds me of the country side. We were walking up to Niall's house and about five people recognized him and instantly greeted him. It's like everyone knew everyone in this town. Maura welcomed us into the house and no one was at home yet so Maura showed me to my room that I'd be staying in and asked Niall to run to the store for her. Which left me where I am now. Sitting on the bed looking for a change of clothes. I was in sweats and a hoodie all day and I was sweaty and was in desperate need of a shower to freshen up. The house wasn't too big but not too small either. Three bedrooms, one bathroom, a small living room and dining area for special occasions as Niall told me and a kitchen, which happened to be the biggest space. No surprise there.
Niall told me his dad would be over later to spend some time with him and we might go out for dinner too. Niall's brother should also be coming over any time soon with his fiancée. It's exciting. I may not be Niall's girlfriend but I don't care. It feels good to be apart of something for a friend. Usually when a guy brings a girl home it's usually his girlfriend but this time it isn't in that situation. I don't mind. I'm over analyzing things aren't I?I asked Maura, once I found clothes to wear, if I could take a shower which she immediately assured me that I should make myself at home and do as I like. I made my way to the bathroom and closed the door behind me,locking it. I looked around the medium sized bathroom. It was pink. That's all I'm saying. Pink and floral. Everything was neat and organized. It was all really pretty.
Once I was undressed and showered, after a good fifteen minutes,I walked out the bathroom changed in a pair of black jeans,a stripped blouse and my black ballet flats. I had a towel in my hand drying my hair as I walked down the hall, looking down at my shoes when I walked into someone.
Stumbling back I called out an apology.
"Always a klutz aren't ya?" Niall teased.
"Oh shut it" I rolled my eyes playfully, pushing my hair out of my face.
"Make me!" Niall challenged with a smirk plastered across his lips.
Before I could do anything Maura called out from the kitchen.
"I made you two some snacks. Come and eat, loves."
Niall ran like a little four year old boy towards the kitchen. I shook my head at the cuteness and followed him to the kitchen.
