>>And in time I know that we'll both see that we're all we need<<

Love. Love. Love.

Stupid freakin' topic. The one topic I wanted to stay clear from. Thank you Shakespeare for practically making every play or poem have an underlining theme of Love.

It's been ten minutes since Niall and I found out our topics for our discussions and projects for Twelfth Night. We have both been sat next to each other staring at the page. From what I have spoken to Niall he seems like a person who loves Love. But then again I could be wrong considering he is sat exactly like me. Conversation fills the room around us and soon Hilary makes her way to us.

"Come on. Discuss. Discuss. Discuss." She gave us a very patronizing stare which made us both turn to each other.

"I believe in Love wholeheartedly," And I was right. Oh joy! "I mean, I believe in love at first sight. I believe in being in love at a young age. I agree on the theme of the play. I have read it a few months back and I agree that Viola can be in love with Orsino even though she just met him. And I do believe that Orsino can love Olivia without knowing her." He folded his hands on the desk looking at me, leaning forward.

"I disagree. I mean Viola clearly doesn't even know what Orsino is like yet she apparently loves him. And don't get me started on Orsino! He cannot possibly be in love with Olivia. Clearly he loves her apparently because he is in love with the idea of being in love. And how could you be in love if you have never spent a single minute with the person. Love is about getting to know some one through a certain period of time." I used quite a few hand gestures which earned some looks from Hilary but I didn't care.

"I believe in dating, yes. But the falling in love happens when you are married and you learn new things about that person every day. That's falling in love. Being with that person every minute of the day learning new things everyday and just spending time with that person. Here Orsino just wants to meet Olivia and then get married to her without even meeting her. Where's the adventure in dating when you can get married to a person you know you will love endlessly. When people date they end up learning everything about that person and then when they get married, what is else is there to do? Fight and have sex? Then they have kids and then fight after that and then what? Divorced. I agree with Orsino's logic of getting married."

I was quite speechless. He did have a point. I leaned back in my seat taking in everything he said. My parents were like that. Sure they were times when they didn't fight but that was the reason they separated. They always fought.

I looked up at Niall who wore a smirk knowing he had won this.

"Come on, Aria. Face it. How many relationships have you had that has failed because you dated? Let me guess. He wanted to go his own way after a while because he lost interest, right? That's because he learnt everything about you in what? Maybe 2 years? So he got bored and moved on. He knew he was not going to spend the rest of his life with you because what more was there to learn." He couldn't be more right.

"I agree you have to date at least two months, but come on. If you like the person and you know you are going to get married why not just get married and have an adventure when you are married and actually be happily married. I believe in the best friends turned husband and wife too. I believe in getting married young. It gives you more time to have some fun then get kids and then grow old together. You have to agree with me on that one,Aria." He leaned back staring at me.

I had a whole entire new perspective on this. I never ever thought of it that way.

"So, you're saying if you meet the right girl and you realise you do some how like her you'll have maybe two dates and then get married? You'll risk maybe being unhappy for the rest of your life because you were naive and married young?" I questioned curiously.
