Sasuke's Point of View

Saturday Night

"What would you like to drink, sir?" The waitress asked, pen poised over the pad, ready to write down what I say.

"The regular, same with my food," I replied, continuously glancing towards the blond idiot who looks so delicious in those clothes.

"Right away."

Damn, he just had to show up at Je T'aime, the one restaurant I actually like. I bet he doesn't even know how to pronounce the name.

"Here you are, sir. If there's anything else you need, let me know," she offered as she set down the plates of food in from of me. She walked off and I was left alone with my thoughts once more.

I couldn't stop glancing at the gorgeous blond. His hair looked so soft, and his eyes were as blue as the ocean.

"Wait, am I seriously thinking all of this?" I thought and tried to stop my train of thought. I don't have time for him. I have to help my brother with the house, since my parents had died when I was five.

"Would you like any dessert?" The waitress asked as she took my plates. I shook my head no and asked for the check.

I glanced back to where Naruto was sitting with his friend and saw he had left.

"Well, it's for the best," I thought, although I couldn't help the frown that came over my face and the wave of disappointment that came over me.

I quickly paid the check and left a tip, waving goodbye to the waitress.

"Sasuke, you're finally home! I haven't seen you since this morning!" Itachi greeted me as I walked through the door.

"Well, I went out with some friends for lunch then had supper at the regular place," I sighed as I took off my shoes by the door.

"Ah. Well, little brother, I've got some news for you," Itachi suddenly said seriously.

"What?" I asked suspiciously.

"Someone's going to be moving in with us. Can you guess who?"

"Did you find your soul mate finally?"

"Yup. Guess who."

"That buff dude named Kisame?" I laughed at the image. I knew my brother only topped, so imagining Kisame as a bottom is hilarious.

Itachi smiled, "No, little brother. It's..."

"What? I didn't hear you very well."

"Deidara."

"Ugh, him? I guess it makes sense," I sighed.

"Sasuke-kun! How are you?" Sakura asked as she latched onto my arm.

"Hn." I shook her off.

"Sasuke! Isn't it a nice day for a date?" Ino latched onto my other arm. I replied the same way I did with Sakura and shook her off.

"Yo, Sasuke!" Suigetsu came from behind and greeted me.

"Suigetsu. Where's Juugo?"

"Aw, Sasuke, don't even really great your best friend? How rude."

"Get away from Sasuke, Suigetsu!" Karin shouts as she gets in Suigetsu's face.

"What, does Karin have a crush on Sasuke?" He taunted.

"No," she stuttered, "I'm just trying to help him by getting rid of an annoying pest!"

"The only one annoying him is you!"

"Stop, Suigetsu, Karin. Now where's Juugo?" I interrupt, tired from their bickering.

"Oh, I think I saw him heading this way when I ran here!" Karin suggested.

"Hn. Thanks."

"Oh my God! The great Sasuke Uchiha saying thanks? Oh how the mighty have fallen!" Suigetsu gasps dramatically.

"What do you mean by that?" I glare.

"Oh, nothing, except, you know, Naruto," he laughed.

"Naruto isn't Sasuke-kun's soul mate!" Ino and Sakura screeched.

"Sakura, Ino," I bite out, menacingly.

"Yes, Sasuke-kun?" They asked.

"Shut up."

As I was sitting at lunch, I saw Naruto walk in with his lunch tray and sit down at the only round table in the room. Kiba, Shikamaru, and Choji followed him and sat spread out. Hinata came over after a few minutes.

"Uchiha," Neji Hyuga greeted as he passed by with Gaara in tow.

"Hyuga," I nodded in their direction.

"Where are those two going?" Juugo asked as he sat down in front of me.

"I don't know," I replied as I turned to see them talk to Naruto.

"How does he know them?" Karin asked with a sneer. I ignored her question in favor of looking Naruto up and down, admiring how he looks with a sleeve off his shoulder and shorts showing off his long, lean legs.

"Did he shave his legs?" Sakura asked, incredulously.

I looked closer at his legs and saw that, indeed, he shaved his legs.

The next day after school, I was walking down the hallway towards the Math room to talk to the teacher about missing a week of school.

"Ow!" A voice shouted from around the corner of the hallway as I approached it.

I walked towards the noise and saw Naruto holding his foot and cussing at the wall. He wore a shirt that was basically backless. The only thing that kept the tattoo on his back from fully showing were the strips of fabric going across the expansion of his back.

The tattoo was of a human male with wings coming out his back, one angelic, the other demonic. As he was kneeling in front of a gravestone, feathers fell around him, making the scene even more sorrowful.

It meant so much to me because I drew the man after the death of my parents. I saw him when I visited their gravestone a year after their death. I had tried to shoo him away, but to no avail. It had been as if he didn't hear me.

As soon as I had gotten home that day, I drew what I had seen.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I voice called out my name. I looked back to where Naruto had been, but he was gone.
