Unvoiced Longing

I see you standing over there,

That messy hair—do you even care?

Boy, do you know what you do to me?

One little glance and I'm weak in the knees

You flash a smile, and just like that,

My heart forgets where it's at.

I swear, you do it all too well,

That casual charm, that magic spell

When you're near, I lose my grace,

A tangled thought, a fleeting chase.

Do you know what you put me through?

Or am I just a blur to you?

I steal a glance, then turn away,

Afraid my eyes might give me away.

But if you looked a little more,

Would you see the girl who adores?

Should I play it cool or drop a sign?

Maybe a joke, "Hey, be mine?"

Either way, just know it's true—

This heart of mine? It's stuck on you.

Do you even know what you make me feel when you smile like that?
