The night of the party, I was just getting ready, when I got a text from Calum, “still coming tonight? Xoxo” “yeah xo” I replied, a got a reply seconds later, “can’t wait, let me know when you are leaving, I’ll meet you outside. Xoxo”
An hour later, I was just about to leave when I remember to text Calum, “leaving now xoxo” “waiting outside xoxo”.
Once I was at their house, i paid the taxi driver and saw that the party had already started, people were drunk, dancing, making out everywhere. Calum, was waiting outside.
I walked in with Calum and we quickly found the rest of the boys.
A few hours later, we were all drunk and dancing. Calum and I were close… really close, his hands on my hips, my back pressing to his chest, his warm breath on my neck,
“Want to get out of here?” I asked, he smiled took my hand and we walked outside to get a taxi, we went to maccas while we were still in the drunk state and didn’t want to do anything stupid if we were by ourselves.
But, once we sobered up a bit at maccas, we got a taxi and we back to my place. Over the holidays, I was just staying at a hotel, while they were renovating the buildings.
We walked up to the hotel, and went into the room, “just wait here I’m going to go and get changed” I said grabbing some clothes and walking into the bathroom to get changed. I walked back out to see Calum in a pair on my pants, that were way too big for me, but they fit Calum alright, but he was in the same top. He was over at the desk, looking at something. “I see you’re wearing my clothes,” I laughed,
“Oh yeah um… sorry, hope you don’t mind, but those jeans do nothing to keep you warm” he laughed,
“Nah its fine I don’t mind” I said.
“I see you still have my jumper” he said picking it up, oh shit.
“oh yeah… um… kind of forgot I had it, sorry, take it back” I said, walking over to the bed and sitting down, he just shook his head laughing a bit and put the jumper back, he came and sat down next to me, we just sat and talked.

“Come on that cannot be the most embarrassing thing that happened while you were on stage” I laughed, we were sitting on the bed, my legs over Calum’s, while we were both leaning against the wall,
“Tripping over your own foot isn’t embarrassing? Then what is embarrassing?” he laughed,
“I don’t know, but it could’ve been worst, you could’ve stuffed up the lyrics, or burped on stage or something” I laughed, that was when Calum pulled a face and stopped laughing, “oh god… you didn’t burp on stage did you?” I laughed,
“I messed up the lyrics to unpredictable,” he laughed, “do you remember that song, it was the song I sang to you on your 16th birthday” he asked, not laughing, I stared back at him, and nodded my head,
“Yeah I do, it was the most amazing night of my life” I whispered.
Nothing was said over the few seconds, before Calum and I both leaded in and kissed.
At first it was just soft and sweet, but somehow, I managed to get on top of Calum, kissing, sitting up against the wall. Calum’s hands got under my top, I missed his touch so much. My fingers ran though his hair, but I pulled on his top, and he quickly pulled mine off.
By now we were both half naked, making out on the bed, “Jess?” Calum asked, pulling away from the kiss. I just looked at him wanting him to continue, “are you still a…?” he slowly stoped,
“Yeah, are you?” I asked, he shook his head.
He looked into my eyes, making sure that I wanted to do this, to say the truth I was scared, but something just told me to not stop,“you sure?” he asked, I nodded my head, smiling bringing his lips to mine again.
I don’t think I realised how much I missed Calum until that night. I forgot how protective his touch was, how he gives me goose bumps, I missed his hot breath on my neck. I missed having him close to me. But I didn’t have to worry anymore, because he was back, and I never wanted to leave him again.

I woke up the next morning in Calum’s arm, still half asleep, so I just laid there, feeling Calums naked body next to mine. I felt him shift over a bit, “shit” he mumbled, before getting out of bed, I didn’t move. I slowly opened my eyes to see Calum walking around the room, getting changed, once he was changed, he turned around; I closed my eyes, pretending to still be asleep. “I love you beautiful” he whispered, before walking out the door. What just happened?
