"YOU ARE AGITATED. Control yourself..."

I need to see him.

"You will see him."

Syl follows me in flight. It's mid-morning, and I asked the group to stop without specifying why I am heading to an isolated place.

Syl's composure flows through me, and her warmth is tangible. Having a Dragon means sharing one's feelings. The first day we met, I found it surreal, ridiculous. It's incredible how opinions change: I can feel my distress, but Syl is dissolving it, infusing me with calm. She is protecting me from myself. Heavens, what would I do without her? How much worse would the despair that grips me become?

Stay close to me. Just... just this time.

It's clear that I am not used to accepting help, nor admitting that I need it. I can't do it alone. The Bond can truly make someone honest.

I promised Raor I would prepare myself. I am trying, and perhaps I am succeeding.

"I will always stay close to you. Not just this time."

I stop on the path, cautiously scanning the trees in the grove, and pull out a small bell from my pocket, purchased at a market in Ocleodathe the last time I was there: its magic can call the person imagined in one's mind, a concept similar to my dimensional key... which I no longer possess. I used to be able to move based on the place I evoked in my thoughts.
