I'm not gonna lie, this has been a ride so far. Realistically this was one of the most unreal, realest moments that I've lived in. Being backstage and watching them all warm up and get on the stage and kill it has been crazy. We were down to the last set on the 3rd day of the tour. Right now Diamond and Cochise were performing their song and then it'll fade into Riek, Araya, and Aries. Everything had been going so good and the crowds have been loving them so much, I was so proud of each and every last one of them. "So this is it, huh bruh?" Kev said as he stepped to the side of me. I looked over at him. "This is what you were working towards when you were talking me out of the streets and have me focused back on school, my sister, and the music. It was all for this here." Mannnn it has been a crazy ass journey but he's right. It was all for this here. "Yeah...I saw a lot in you and I wanted you to see it for yourself. All of you for real. This right here just lets me know, if I didn't do anything else in life right, I did this right." "I'm sure it's way more than this here though. If no one else ever tells you, thank you. Without you bruh, I wouldn't be here. Hell I wouldn't be half the man that I am today. Part of the reason I changed my name was because I'm not no little man no more, I'm a whole grown man. You helped me see the bigger picture and to push my music more. I wouldn't be as great of a parental figure to Keish, not to mention, I don't think I could've pulled Dom any other way. Everything changed for me, and I'm thankful for you for that." He told me before we shook hands. Man...me and Kev been through the trenches together so to see him make it to the other side meant a lot to me. That's how I know, I can leave the game behind. For so many reasons, I was thankful for him too. What's understood, never needed to be explained for sure. Diamond and Cochise walked backstage as the song faded and I could see Cochise's adrenaline was pumping. Loved to see it. "Man...it was way more people out there than I expected." he said as he stood by us. "Y'all reach is further than you imagined, huh?" I said to him. "It is! I actually saw them singing the words to the song with us. I didn't even think we got people buzzing so much outside of Georgia." he said. "You ain't seen nothing yet, wait til y'all hit the colleges next week. You'll feel it for sure." I assured him as Iris walked up behind me and placed her head on my shoulder. "Watching it from the audience is quite the experience! Y'all killed that." she told them. "Thanks boo." D told her as she stepped around and stood in front of me. I had put my arms around her waist and brought her closer to me. She looked up in my eyes. "You look tired." I said to her and she smiled. "I think we all are." she said to me and it's like we all simultaneously laughed. "Hell yeah I'm so glad tomorrow is at a bar so it's a late day because I feel like I need at least a solid 10 hours of sleep." Kev said and I felt him on that. "I could use 12." Iris said and I knew she meant every word of it because she could sleep for real. "On the bright side, this the last song and then y'all will do your lil pictures with the fans thing. We'll be back at the hotel within 2 hours." I let them know. "That's cool, I can function with that." D said. We all looked back up and seen them getting ready to walk off stage but these mfs seemed wide tf awake compared to us. "I could get used to this!" Riek's extra hyper ass said once they reached us and we laughed. "See...pushing you to get out of the shadows was the right move." Iris said to him. "Oh yeah, this is a character that needed to be unlocked for sure, they eating that up." Araya said. At first we were all so nervous about the tribe's ability to keep it together onstage but in all honesty, they was doing it! I wasn't sure how it was gonna be once he asked Aries to marry him, because what does that mean for the other 2? But I guess it's all good. "I wasn't expecting that though. I always been able to brag different though. Y'all the trophies for real." He said. Cat was humble as hell for real. "If we're the trophies, then you're the champion. Don't sell yourself short." Aries told him. "Naw for real because can't too many rappers pull off the Jimi Hendrix vibes and still be loved by the crowd, but look at you." Kev told him before they shook hands. "Appreciate it brody! Shit but the way the crowd was loving you...man you could've crowd surfed." Riek told him and we laughed again because the way they be lit every time he hits the stage, he really could. Ever since the first show we ever did, the crowds have always loved him. "I'm just trying to get on Onyx level. Did y'all see how they was thirsty for her?" Aries said. "Mannnnn what?! I was like damn...they been waiting to see her face for a long time. They ate that up for sure. Loved every single second of her up there." D said. "Where did they go?" Araya asked as she looked around for them. "Dox had an interview, they both went." Iris said as they all nodded at that. "So...y'all ready for this backstage stampede of pictures?" I asked them. "As long as it's not a repeat of last night." D said and we all laughed hard as fuck. "Mannnnn I thought I was finna catch a case." Kev said. "My boo got Stans already." Iris said and even D had to laugh too but that dude last night was trying to risk it all I swear. "But I had y'all though. Like I said, he didn't pay for the Chris Brown experience, so he wasn't getting it." Aries said. Her lil pretty tough ass was good for doing the most. But at least they all was rocking with each other.
