Chapter 5: I hate my life

"Hands where I can see them and nobody gets hurt!" My Mom yelled at us pointing the gun at all of us.

"Look who it is, honey." My Dad said pointing the gun at Tina.

"Let her be." I told them running in front of Tina.

"How dare you defy us!" My Dad yelled at me. He raised his hand and was about to hit me, but I grabbed his wrist in time.

"Enough." I growled at him. He looked taken back.

"What did you just say?" My Dad asked me.

"You heard me." I told them angering them. My Mom walked over to me and hit me with the butt of her gun.

I screamed in agony. Everyone stiffened and didn't move. My Mom grabbed my arm and dragged me out if the house. My Dad walked out after us making sure nobody followed us. Tears filled my eyes.

"Hurry up. I heard you call the police. We aren't stupid." My Mom said.

"You aren't my real parents. Tina is my real sister. Why do you want to torture me?" I asked them trying to get them to stay here and talk while Rob gets here.

"We are your real parents and that Tina girl is your sister. We put her up for adoption. We didn't want two kids let alone one. We kept you because we thought we could have some use out of you once you were older. But look what you put us through. More than we wanted. Now we are stuck running from the law, because you are an ungreatful brat." My Mom told me. My eyes widened.

A siren went off in the distance. My parents looked at each other and let me go. They ran to their vehicle and started it up as fast as they could.

"Until next time my sweet child." My Dad spat at me. Before they left my Dad spat in my direction.

I turned and ran back to the house. I ran into Brandons arms and cried. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight. I barried my face into his chest so everything could be gone.

"Shh. It's ok. They aren't here. They left. They can't hurt you know." Brandon said. I heard someone coming closer from the door. I stiffened.

"Its just me, Tay." Rob said calming me down. I pulled away from Brandon and looked at Tina.

"I found something out. We are sisters and my parents are our real parents." I told her straight forward.

"Oh." Tina seemed shock by what she just found out. That she was adopted and I was chosen over her.

"Don't think about it as a bad thing. You then didnt have to deal with what I did." I told her. She shook her head and gave me a hug and cried on my shoulder. "It's ok. Shh." I told her to calm her down. You should be happy you have a sibling, that's me." I told her rubbing her back to calm her down a little.

"I know." Was all she could say before another chorues of sobs came.

Once the shock of what happened passed we all sat in the living room and sat in utter silence. Brandons Dad walked in the door and everyone jumped when he walked into the room. We all laughed at each other to calm the tension.

Brandons Dad looked at us in confusion. I looked at Brandon and snuggled closer to him.

"I will tell you tonight in bed." Brenda told her husband. That's all it took because he left and walked to his office in the house. He doesn't talk much with people out of the family. I found out the hard way.

"Is anyone hungry?" Brenda asked trying to cheat up the mood.

I shook my head in agreement. Slowly everyone else agrees they were hungry. Rob left then and went patrolling looking for my parents. We all sat at the table and ate in silence.

After dinner Tina, Britney, and I went up to my room and got ready for bed.

"What am I going to do about my school stuff?" Tina asked. Me and Brit looked at each other and laughed.

"We can make a quick stop by your house tomorrow morning. How does that sound?" I asked her.

"A good idea." She said.

We made our beds and sat down and talked about the most random topics.

"So who is the hotty in your school?" Tina asked us. Brit and I looked at each other and smirked.

"I'm dating him." I stated matter of factly.

"Oh. Is that so?" A voice said outside my door. We all looked at the doorway and Brandon stood their.

"I didn't know we were talking about you? I thought it was my other boyfriend." I smirked at him.

"Oh. Is that so?" He said and walked over to me and pinned me to the bed.

"Sorry to break this up, but there is company." Brit said. I looked at her and winked. Tina and Brit both got up and gave Brandon a hard shove. He fell off me and the bed. We all looked at each other and laughed.

"What was that for?" Brandon asked still dazed from the fall. I laughed even harder. Finally I collected myself and kissed him on the cheek. That got him out if his daze. He turned to me and smirked. I shook my head no. He frowned and walked out of the room.

"Well that was quiet interesting." Tina said still smiling.

"Yeah, but fun." Brit said.

"Is there anyone to stay from?" Tina asked suddenly. Brit and I looked at each other. We were both thinking if the same person, Josh.

"This one person. I think it would be beat not to talk to him alone. His name is Josh. Please do that for me Tina. If he tries to talk to you walk away. Got it?" I asked her seriously.

"Get it, got it, good." Tina said and smiled at me. A loud yawn silenced us. Brit smiled sheepishly.

"I think it would be in everyone's interest to go to sleep. Because two people are starting school tomorrow and another has been going there for quiet some time." I smiled at Brit. She understood what I was saying.

"What do you mean two people?" Tina asked me.

"I haven't been to school since the accident. I am starting again tomorrow because of you and I figured it was time to head back there and teach people how tough I am." I smiled at Tina.

We all smiled and headed to bed. Tina and Brit were fast asleep in no time. I tossed and turned until about one in the morning. A noise in the hall made me jump. I tiptoed into the hall and saw nobody their. I shrugged and turned around to walk back into my room.

Somebody grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against a wall. I gasped and looked at my capturer. It was Brandon. I smirked at him.

"Is there something you need?" I whispered.

"Just one thing." He answered and leaned down. He kissed me lightly on the cheek. The heat rose to my cheeks almost instantly.

"You look so cute when you blush. You know that?" Brandon asked.

My blush deepened. He kissed me again. This time though he went for the lips, but when he was about to kiss me I turned my head so he got my cheek. I giggled silently. He shook his head and let me go back to bed.

I crawled under my covers and finally fell asleep.
