Josh!

Chapter 8: Josh!

We stared at the cars in fury and wonder. Brit turned to Tina and Tina turned to me and I turned to Brandon. We all just stood there like idiots trying to figure out who could have done that to ours vehicles. A car came revving past. I jumped and saw Josh sitting in the passenger seat smirking with a pocket knife dangling from is fingers.

"Calm down, Tay. You'll pop a vein." Brandon soothed.

I didn't even realize I was that tense until he said something. I broke out of my hazey state and stared at Josh.

"He has some nerve coming here and costing us hundreds of dollars. That is damaging personal property. I could go to the police." I rambled.

"Don't worry he won't get away with this. Trust me. Tina and I have this all under control." Brit said rolling up her sleeves.

I quickly grabbed her collar so she couldn't get away and do more damage. She looked at me fury burned in her eyes. I just shook my head no. She hung her head and walked back behind me. I turned back to Josh and nicely walked over to his window.

"Have fun at school considering I can make every turn on you. Nobody would dare turn against me after what has happened to me. Bye." I smiled the whole time and waved innocently. I turned back around and walked back to Brandon and grabbed Tina's and Brit's sleeves and dragged them to the front door.

Brandon opened the door for me and we walked into the living room. I stood there looking out the window. Waiting to calm down. It wasn't happening. Coursing through my veins was anger, and a lot of it. I sat down and breathed in slowly. My heart rate rapidly went down.

"I am going to call your mom and let her know what happened. Then I will call Rob for a drive to school." I told Brandon.

He nodded his head in agreement. So I dialed her number. And after the fifth rung she picked up.

"Hello? Tay, what's going on? You should be at school." She said right away.

"Well there was a slight problem with that. Josh came over for a visit this morning." I said.

"What did he do?" She sighed.

"He slashed our tires. Like mine, Brandon's, Tina's, and Brit's " I told her.

I could tell she was rolling her eyes with frustration. She wasn't going to be to happy about this. This is going to cost a fortune.

"Did you tell Rob yet?" She asked me finally responding.

"No. I was going to once I told you." I replied.

"OK. Call me once you call him, please. Talk to you later. Tell Brandon his clean underwear are in the basket downstairs please." She told me.

"I will on both of the things." I let her know and hung up the phone.

I turned to Brandon.

"Your mother wants you to know you have clean underwear downstairs in the basket." I told him giggling.

"Uh..well..um.. You didn't have to say that out loud!" Brandon blushed.

"She kinda did." Brit laughed. Tina and Brit stood there keeled over in a fit of laughter.

"Ugh. Whatever." Brandon said a little angry.

I rolled my eyes and dialed Robs number. It went straight to voice mail. I tried again, voice mail again. Concern spread through me. The. My phone rang. I jumped. I answered it. Rob had called back.

"You called? Is everything alright?" He asked.

"Everything is fine, except for the fact that Josh slashed all our tires." I growled the ending.

"Need a ride?" He asked.

"Wellll." I drew out the ending.

"I will be there soon." He said and hung up.

"He will be here soon." I told them as I hung up the phone.

We waited for Rob to get here to bring us to school. We sat in complete silence. Finally a loud horn went off outside. I looked out the window and saw two police cars parked out front. I got in with Rob and Brandon sat next to me. Nobody said anything the whole ride to school.

"Thanks for the ride." I said to Rob and walked into the school building.

I ditched everyone and went out for the kill. I found Josh standing at lockers laughing with a couple of his friends. I walked right up to him and slapped him hard across the face. Everyone stopped laughing and looked at me like I was crazy. Josh stood there stunned to do anything. Anger crossed his face. He lifted his hand like he was going to hit me. I just stood there strong. I knew it wouldn't hurt, so I just looked at him. He then grabbed the back of my head and brought my lips to his. Everyone gasped.

Someone pulled me back and punched Josh right in the face. Brandon looked like he was going to kill him. I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. I stomped on Josh's foot slapped him across the face once more. Then stormed off.
