Chapter 6: School again
The stupid alarm beeped until I slammed my hand on it to shut it up. Groans came from the floor. Brit and Tina rubbed the sleep from theirs eyes and stretched.
"I am still so tired. Do we have to go?" Brit asked.
"Yes." I yawned.
Tina groaned and fell back into the pillows. A knock on the door made Tina jump. I giggled at her. It was kinda funny. I saw Brenda at the door.
"Rise and shine girlies." She smiled.
"How can you be so perky?" Brit asked.
"Coffee." Brenda said. I laughed and knew she was right.
We all slowly got up and picked up the beds. We started to get ready for school , but we where still really tired. We groggily made our way downstairs to see everyone else wide awake with a cup of coffee in hand. I made myself a cup and sat at the table airing with my legs crossed. Tina and Brit sat next to me on either side of me. Slowly I woke up some more.
"Are you guys easy for school?" Brenda asked.
"Not even close." I stated.
"Well hurry up. You have to leave soon if you want you make it to school on time." Brenda said.
"We are working on it." Brit yawned.
"Well work on it faster." Brenda exclaimed. Using her hands for emphasis.
I rolled my eyes and made my way back upstairs. We all got ready in record time. Once we were all sure we were done we grabbed our bags and ran downstairs. Brenda smiled at us approvingly.
Brandon stood there in front of his car waiting on us to get a move on. Brit and Tina got in their cars and drove off to school. I slid into the passenger seat and waited for Brandon to start the car. After two minutes of waited I turned to him.
"Don't we need to go to school?" I asked concerned.
"Yeah." Was all he said.
"Then don't we need to go?" I asked.
"Are you sure you're ready?" Brandon asked me still looking out the window.
"I'm positive. Now let's go before we are late. Please." I begged. He finally started the car and backed out of the driveway.
Once we made it to the school we had ten minutes to get to class. Tina and Brit were at my locker waiting for me when I got there. When they saw me they stopped what they were doing and smiled at me. I walked over to them awaiting the string of questions that I thought might be coming my way.
"How are you?" Brit asked simpathetically.
"Fine. And plus you just say me not even twenty minutes ago. Not much changed." I said curiose.
"Well you took so long we thought you might have wanted to pro long the inevitable." Tina said.
"I'm fine." I said.
"Tay, please come to the principals office now." The secretary said over the speakers. Everyone stopped what they where doing and stared at me.
I walked to the office and made sure my head stayed up high. But inside I was embarrassed for my life. I opened the door and the principal stood there waiting for me in front of his office. My heart jumped to my throat when I looked at him. I have never been sent to the principals office. I was scared that I did something wrong.
"Can you please come inside?" He asked.
"Y..yes." I stuttered.
"It's OK. You're not in trouble. I just need to talk to you. That's all." He tried to calm me down. It didn't work.
