The soft glow of the bedside lamp cast long shadows across the hotel room. Aiden lay tangled in the sheets, his bare skin warm against Aarav's. His mind was still spinning from the night they had shared. He had never felt anything like this before---this overwhelming, burning sensation that felt him breathless. Aarav's arm was draped over his waist, his fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns on Aiden's stomach.
"You're thinking too much," Aarav murmured against Aiden's ear, his voice deep and husky.
Aiden swallowed hard, his fingers gripping the sheets. "This... this can't keep happening."
Aarav chuckled, his lips brushing over Aiden's jaw. "Yet here we are."
Aiden turned his head, their eyes meeting. Aarav's gaze was unreadable, but there was something dangerous in it---something possessive. Before Aiden could say anything, Aarav leaned in and kissed him, slow and deep, making his mind go blank.
Aiden should have pulled away. He should have stopped this before t went too far. But instead, he kissed back, his body betraying him once again.
The next day, Aiden was exhausted. He barely got any sleep after leaving the hotel and now he had to act normal around Ayaan.
But normal was impossible.
Especially when Ayaan pulled him aside that afternoon with an excited grin. "Aiden, there's someone I want you to meet."
Aiden blinked in surprise. "Who?"
Ayaan's eyes sparkled with something new---something Aiden had never seen before. "My girlfriend," he announced proudly.
Aiden felt like he had been punched in the stomach. "Your what?"
Before he could process the words, a tall, elegant girl walked up to them, her long dark hair cascading over her shoulders. She was beautiful---striking, even---with deep brown eyes and a confident smile.
"This is Tiyasha Wickramasinghe," Ayaan said, wrapping an arm around her waist. "Tiyasha, this is Aiden, my best friend."
Tiyasha smiled warmly. "I've heard so much about you."
Aiden forced himself to return the smile. "Yeah? All good things, I hope."
Tiyasha laughed softly. "Mostly."
Ayaan smirked. "Don't worry, I only tell her the embarrassing stuff."
Aiden chuckled, but his heart wasn't in it. He wasn't sure why, but something about this moment didn't sit right with him.
He stole a glance at Ayaan, trying to understand why he felt this way. It wasn't jealousy---was it? No, that was ridiculous. Ayaan was his best friend. That was all.
So why did it feel like something had shifted between them?
Later that night, Aiden lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, his thoughts a tangled mess. He was happy for Ayaan-he should be happy for him. But Tiyasha's arrival had changed something. Ayaan had always been his, in a way. His best friend. His constant. But now, someone else had a claim on him.
Aiden sighed, rolling onto his side, hoping sleep would come soon.
But then---
A soft knock at the door.
Aiden frowned, pushing the sheets aside and getting up. When he opened the door, he wasn't surprised to see Aarav standing there, leaning casually against the frame.
"You shouldn't be here," Aiden whispered.
Aarav smirked. "But you're letting me in anyway."
Aiden hesitated for only a second before stepping aside. Aarav walked in, closing the door behind him.
"What do you want?" Aiden asked, crossing his arms.
Aarav walked toward him, his expression unreadable. "You've been avoiding me."
Aiden scoffed. "I wonder why."
Aarav chuckled. "Oh, I know why." He took another step forward and Aiden instinctively stepped back. But there was nowhere left to go---his back hit the wall.
Aarav placed his hands on either side of Aiden's head, trapping him. "You're thinking too much again."
Aiden swallowed hard. "Aarav---"
Aarav leaned in, his lips grazing Aiden's ear. "Call me Daddy."
Aiden's breath hitched. "What---"
Aarav chuckled, his voice dripping with amusement. "You heard me."
Aiden's face burned. "I'm not---"
Aarav cut him off with a kiss, slow and teasing. Aiden's knees nearly buckled as Aarav's hands slid down his sides, gripping his waist firmly.
Aiden gasped as Aarav pulled him closer, their bodies pressing together. "Say it," Aarav murmured against his lips.
Aiden squeezed his eyes shut, trying to resist the pull of temptation. But then Aarav but down on his lower lip and Aiden whimpered.
"Daddy..." he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Aarav groaned, his grip tightening. "That's my good baby."
Aiden felt something inside him snap. He didn't fight anymore. He let Aarav kiss him, let him touch him, let himself drown in the sensations.
Aarav lifted him effortlessly, carrying him to the bed and laying him down gently. His hands roamed Aiden's body, teasing and exploring, pushing him to the edge of sanity.
Aiden clung to him, gasping, his body betraying him completely. He should stop this---he should push Aarav away. But he didn't.
Because in this moment, he didn't want to.
He wanted more.
Aarav smirked as he leaned down, his lips brushing against Aiden's ear. "You're mine now, baby."
Aiden's heart pounded in his chest. He knew this was dangerous. He knew he was playing with fire.
But he didn't care.
Not anymore.
