Merideth's Perspective

I pulled Matt's knife out of my boot and put it in my backpack. I pulled out my Rifle-style Black Pocket Knife. I opened it and then closed the door. I ran to Isaac's house with Derek and Scott following me. I pulled my sleeve over my hand and opened the door. I pushed Scott and Derek in and then snapped my fingers. I handed Scott the flashlight that appeared and then clutched my knife. I closed the door and Scott ran the beam of light along the walls.

"If Isaac didn't kill his father, who did?" Scott asked.

"I don't know yet." Derek said as we took small steps through the house.

"Then how do you know he's telling the truth?"

"Because I trust my senses."

"You seemed to trust your senses hell of a lot more when you bit Jackson and Isaac." I said sarcastically.

"It's a combination of them. Not just your sense of smell." We stopped.

"You saw the Lacrosse thing today." Scott said.

"Yeah." Derek said bluntly. Scott sighed as Derek looked at the back of his head.

"Did it look that bad?"

"Yeah." Derek said and grabbed Scott's shoulder. He led him to the door that led to the basement. I put my knife away and walked in before Scott. He walked behind me.

"What's down here?" I asked.

"Motor." Derek responded.

"And what am I looking for?" I asked.

"Follow your senses."

I saw a chair with a doll in it. I pushed some sort of paper like thing out of the way and looked, but shut when I saw nothing.

"What happened down here?" Scott asked.

"The kind of thing that leaves an impression."

I looked around and saw scratch marks on the concrete floor. I looked up and saw a medium sized freezer.

I walked over to it and played with the lock. I looked at the freezer and just stood still.

Derek was all of a sudden next to me and Scott and he turned on the flashlight. I looked at him while I jiggled the lock.

"Open it." Derek nodded to the freezer. I pulled the lock up and out and then Scott opened the freezer. I backed up as I saw the millions of scratch marks. I covered my mouth with my hands to prevent a sob from escaping. I swallowed and then uncovered my mouth.

"So this is why he said yes to you?" Scott asked.

"Everyone wants power." Derek said.

"If we help you, then you have to stop." I said harshly.

"You can't just go around turning people into werewolves." Scott said.

"I can if they're willing."

"Did you even tell Isaac about the Argents, about being hunted?" I asked.

"Yes, and he still asked."

"Then he's an idiot." Scott said.

"And you're the idiot dating Argent's daughter." Derek commented.

Scott looked at him.

"Yeah, I know your little secret, Scott. And if I know, how long to you think it's gonna take for them to find out?"

Derek pulled Scott to the bottom of the stairs.

"You saw what happens to an Omega. The same thing could happen to Merideth. But with me you learn how to use all of your senses. With me you learn control. Even on the full moon." He whispered to no avail. I looked at them.
