Merideth's Perspective

"Would you mind seeing who that is?" Deaton asked. Scott and I stopped what we were doing, getting ready to walk to the reception. We paused and glanced at Deaton as the dogs started barking and whimpering, even the one we were helping. Deaton rounded the corner with and we saw Isaac standing with his hands in his pockets and looking down.

"It's okay Isaac." Deaton walked to the small gate," We're open."

Isaac stepped in and we walked back to the room with the current dog. I shot my head up as I felt something. I ran out of the office and towards Derek's house. I ran in right as Boyd and Erica ran out. I walked up behind Derek and scanned over the books that he was standing over. Derek and I grabbed a piece of glass and threw each other them at Peter's presence behind us. Peter caught the glass and spun them in his fingers.

"I expected a slightly warmer welcome, but, point taken."

"It's quite a situation you got yourself into here Derek. I mean I'm outta commission for a few weeks and suddenly there's lizard people, geriatric psychopaths, and your cookin' up werewolves out of every self-esteem deprived adolescent in town." Peter conflicted.

"What'd you want?" Derek asked, jaw clenched.

"Well, I wanna help." Peter stepped forwards.

"You're my nephew and niece. The only relatives that I have left. You know, there's still a lot that I can teach you. Can we just talk?" Peter put his hands on our shoulders. We stared at his hands.

"Sure. Let's talk." Derek and I grabbed Peter and threw him into the railing of the staircase. I dusted my hands off as Peter groaned, standing up slowly.

"I've got a lacrosse game tonight. I'll talk to you later." I kissed Derek's cheek and ran to my house. I looked at the time and saw it was five o'clock. I took off my previous clothing and wiped off my makeup. I put my 5 Seconds Of Summer Top on and slid my Boutique Moschino Shorts around my hips and pulled my Isabel Marant Étoile Bekett Hidden Wedge Sneakers over my black socks.

I put a another outfit, and black tank top, in my PINK Duffle Bag along with my lacrosse pads, shorts,  jersey. I put my cosmetics bag in one of the pockets then snapped my fingers, tapping around my eyes. I grabbed my Accessories SKH Snapback and put it on backwards. I slung my duffle bag over my shoulder and grabbed my phone and car keys, walking down stairs. I reached the bottom of the stairs and saw my dad with blue jeans on, a white shirt, heavy duty boots, and a heavy jacket. I froze in my spot and stared at him.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"I'm not gonna miss this game, not again." He smiled and set my bag down throwing my phone and keys on it. I wrapped my arms around his chest and smiled. He kissed my forehead and rubbed my shoulder. We released the hug and I picked my stuff up again. I raised my keys and he smiled. I grabbed a water from the fridge and he followed me out to my Mustang and got in the passenger seat. I put my duffle bag in the bag seat and slid my phone under my thigh, slipping the keys in the ignition and turning it on. I pulled away from my house and drove towards the school. I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel as I drove down the calm rodes.

I found a parking spot and turned on my car, putting my phone and keys in my duffle bag. I got out and put the strap over my right shoulder.

"Go find a seat. I have to get ready." I smiled and he nodded, walking off to the field. I locked my car with the snap of my fingers and ran inside, towards the boys' locker rooms. I walked in and all the guys stared at me. I casually walked to my locker and put the combination in.
