Merideth's Perspective
I put my pajamas on and then put my crutches under my armpits. I walked out of my room and to the stairs. I sat down at the top step and slid my crutches down the carpeted staircase and slid myself, step by step to the bottom. I grabbed my crutches and then limped to my kitchen with them under my armpits. The doorbell rang and I softly groaned. I walked to the door and pulled it open, revealing Deaton.
"Hey Merideth. So I need to apply a cast to your foot." He blurted.
"Alright. Come on in." I moved out of the way and he walked in. I closed the door behind him and followed him to my living room. I flopped onto the couch and leaned my crutches on the couch. He kneeled next to my foot and pulled out a cast mold. He gently slid it onto my foot and then closed his thing.
"Couldn't you have brought a different color?" I asked.
"Hey, you'll be able to design it." Deaton smiled.
"Thanks Deaton." I smiled back and he nodded.
"Remember no pressure on it. You have a good night Merideth." He waved and walked out. I got up and did my same routine up the stairs. I walked into my room and lean my crutches against the wall near my bed. I laid down and propped my foot on one of my extra pillows. I pulled the blanket over my body and quickly fell asleep.
