Mia's Perspective

I shivered as I felt coldness surrounding my body. I slowly opened my eyes and saw I was in the pet clinic. I groaned as I felt a sharp pain in my head. I tried sitting up but someone pushed me back down.

"If I were you I wouldn't sit up yet. You broke your ankle and have a rock jabbed into your side. I was sorta hoping you would be out longer but I guess I can just do it now. This may hurt." Deaton's voice said and I felt a sharp long pain in my stomach.

I screamed and squirmed around. Four more hands held me still at my shoulders. I felt the rock being removed from my side and squeezed my eyes shut. I sighed in relief as I felt the rock was gone and the hands were removed. I sat up and swung my feet off the table I hopped off but fell straight to the ground. I groaned and rolled my eyes. People helped me up and placed me on the cold metal table.

"Shouldn't it be healing?" I asked.

"Yeah but something happened to the point where you're not a supernatural being anymore until we figure out what it is." Gaby said as she leaned against the counter.

"Does that mean I look like myself again?" I asked.

"Yep. Your fire ombre hair is back and your green and blue eyes are back." Deaton explained. Sofie handed me a mirror and I saw my one green eye and one blue eye. I set the mirror down and ran my fingers through my long fire ombre hair.

"I have some crutches that you'll have to you use until your ankle get better. You'll most likely have to have a surgery but the crutches are here for your use till then." Deaton handed the crutches to me and I slid off the table, standing on my one good foot. I put the crutches under my arm and wrapped my hand around the small part.

"Now I'm not letting you walk home. My car is outside, I'm driving you home." Sofie demanded.

"Okay." I smiled and she led me to her car.

"Thanks Deaton!" I yelled before walking out. Sofie opened her car door and helped my in. I set my crutches leaning on the seat between my legs. Sofie shut the door and ran over to her side, getting in and slamming the door. She started her Ford Edge and backed out of the parking lot.

"So where do you live?" She asked.

"Branchard Avenue. The third house on the right side of the block." I replied and she sped up and drove in that direction. She pulled into my driveway and got out, running to help me out. She closed the door and followed me to the door. She opened it and I stepped in.

"Thanks Sofie." I thanked.

"No problem. I'll see you at school tomorrow." She smiled and shut the door. I walked inside, the crutches squeaking. My dad rounded the corner and saw me.

"Merideth. Good lord. What happened?" He asked.

"Just broke my ankle." I said.

"Okay. You better take a bath instead of a shower tonight." He said and I nodded.

"Just please be careful." He said.

"Are you heading to your shift?" I asked.

"Yeah. Text me after you take a bath." He kissed my cheek and ran out the door. I walked to the stairs and sat down on them. I pushed myself up everyone with my only good foot.
