Y/N and Fluffy continued through the foggy, dark forest, their steps growing heavier with exhaustion. The thick mist coiled around the trees, making it nearly impossible to see more than a few feet ahead. Y/N's mind was clouded with worry for the others—deep down, he hoped they were safe. He wanted to find them soon, but survival was the priority.

His gaze shifted to Silky, cradled carefully in Fluffy's arms. She was still unconscious, her injuries severe, but at least the bleeding had stopped. That was something. He let out a quiet sigh of relief.

But as much as Y/N was tired, he could tell Fluffy was struggling too. Her movements had slowed, and her usual energetic demeanour had dulled.

"Fluffy, you look exhausted," Y/N said, glancing over at her. "Why don't we find somewhere to rest?"

Fluffy gave a small nod, her tail swishing weakly as they pressed forward.

After what felt like hours, something strange caught Y/N's attention. The darkness of the night had faded—not into morning, but into late evening, as if time had reversed itself. The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows between the trees.

"I'm actually going insane..." he muttered under his breath, shaking his head.

Before he could dwell on it, Fluffy tugged at his shirt, pointing ahead with one clawed hand. Y/N followed her gaze—and there, nestled between the trees, was a cabin.

A wave of relief washed over him. "Good find, Fluffy!" He ruffled her fur, earning a small wag of her tail. Without hesitation, they made their way to the cabin.

The wooden structure loomed before them, eerily quiet. The front door creaked as they stepped inside, revealing a dust-covered interior. The air smelled of aged wood and abandonment, but the place was intact enough to serve as shelter.

"This will do..." Y/N muttered, scanning the room. His eyes landed on a worn-out sofa.

"Fluffy set Silky down here," he instructed. "I'll find something to patch her up."

Fluffy obeyed, gently placing Silky onto the couch. Meanwhile, Y/N searched the cabin, eventually finding a medical kit tucked inside the bathroom cabinet. He wasted no time grabbing it before heading back downstairs.
