"Is it just me, or does today feel... weird?"

What an ominous and weird text, is what any normal people would say if they received something like that. Kim Min Ah and her team members were used to it though, and looked at each other in exasparation. Their Team Leader was always getting in all sorts of trouble. Kim Min Ah grumbled as she quickly made her way down the stairs. 

"Team Leader, you need to start asking for help before you fai-" She started as she pushed open the heavy metal doors. She stopped at the sight of her team leader, bloody and unruly. That wasn't so weird either, even though it wasn't often that he fainted from his second ability. No, the weird part was that he was cradling something in his arms. It was loud. 

"Whoa, geez." Jung So Hoon looked over Kim Min Ah's head with no difficulty. "Did he pick up a bomb or is he trying to get the monsters towards us?" Jung So Hoon laughed nervously. 

"No, that's the sound of a baby." Kim Min Ah pulled him up and brought him into a a princess carrying position. Kim Rok Soo quietly groaned. No matter where she put her hands, she'd be touching those cuts and blood will pour more. 

"Gosh, did our baby ever scream this loud?" Bae Puh Rum laughed as the baby started to kick him through his dirty clothes. He clicked soothingly and hummed to the baby who only screamed louder. He sighed as all the other employees rushed to cover their ears.

Kim Min Ah tutted under her breath but couldn't help but smile thinking about their baby. "No, she definitely screamed louder." She shared a glance with her husband and they both laughed at them memories of late-night coffee breaks, the ringing of their heads after and the absolutely content expression she had when she finally fell asleep.

"He needs medical attention. He's lost about, I dunno, 1-2 litres of blood? He's barely alive again." Kim Min Ah barked out to the healer who had only just sat down. 

"AGAIN?" The healer's voice rose in indignation before cooling down. He stood up and pointed to the bed. Kim Min Ah obediently put down her Leader — a funny picture it was, a barely 5'1 person holding an adult who was almost 6 feet tall. But she put him down unceremoniously and the healer prepared to use his ability. 

He slipped on some gloves, and opened a jar with ease. He took out the bitter purple root and wettened his lips. This was the worst part, so he quickly chewed it and forced himself not to gag. Purple light surrounded his bdy and he focused on controlling it towards his hands. 

"Get the baby out of the way. The pain could kill it." The healer said in between chews of the root. It was turning into a liquid as he chewed and he needed to use it quickly before he swallowed. It was too expensive to waste spitting it out, and too bitter to keep in his mouth until another healing.

Gently, Bae Puh Rum pushed his arms apart, and Kim Min A prepared to use her ability to get the baby out. They didn't need it though. Kim Rok Soo was in rough shape, but his body relaxed at the warm touch, and his tight grip around the screaming being loosen—

"There's two!" Bae Puh Rum pointed out as he scooped up the screaming baby. "What a hair colour!" He smiled at the little red-haired boy, who's lungs were clearly superhuman. Bae Puh Rum stroked at the baby gently as he grimaced at the sound. 

"Can someone carry that girl?" Kim Min Ah fussed. "I can't secure both at once!" She looked around and glared at Jung So Hoon who grumbled but picked up the girl anyways. Her seemingly-silver hair was dripping with blood, but thankfully it didn't seem to completely be her own.
