Alberu stretched, one leg flat on the ground and the other folded underneath. His hands grasped his ankle, and his sides burned as he struggled in the same position. He breathed out heavily, and he shook slightly. He counted down from two minutes, and took fast, uneven breaths.

He was struggling. Not just with his stretching, but with the new thing he had learned. A new student was joining this year, in his grade. He looked through the name, searching for information. What school did he go before this? What were his achievements? What was he passionate about? Who's his family?

And he found nothing. No pictures. No links. Not even a line with his name in it. He was completely and utterly blank. The only information he had, was the information the school, trusted to him. He was two years younger, and his name was Cale H. No last name.

The only Cale H that could've possibly been him, was called Cale Henituse and had already graduated almost two whole decades ago. Of course, Alberu left no stone untouched, and searched him up too. He was 40 now, his mother dead from a car crash in the rain, and had been declared missing.

He considered the idea they were related, perhaps the one joining the school was named after him. But it didn't seem like it. He had no father or siblings on record. And his mother was dead. So both Cale H's were mysteries. He was stuck without anything to go on.

This wasn't what he was used to. He always had information. Always had the upper hand. A little black mail. But this new guy... he was putting him in a new situation, forcing him into a situation he had no control over. With nothing to know about the new kid, Alberu was defenseless. His information was a shield, a sword and the ball and chain that he dragged around. If he had nothing to use then he would have to find some. Perhaps even make some.

Choi Han pushed open the door into their room, unaware of Alberu's plotting, and leaned over his class president with a smile. Alberu startled, before smiling back with a smile a little too wide. He patted the floor next to him, inviting him in to join him, and Choi Han sat down next to him.

"You're so flexible, Class President." Choi Han's gentle voice praised, and Alberu came to the realisation he was still in his stretching pose. His calves and thighs were screaming in pain. He quickly let go, and felt the quick relief. He laughed lightly, and hoped the pain wasn't evident on his face.

"It's just practice. You could be flexible too, Vice President." Alberu humbly let the compliment roll off his back, although secretly he was pleased. He liked the random compliments. Choi Han always praised him for the most mundane of things, with his sweet voice and soft smiles. He was...nice.

Choi Han nudged closer and closer, until their shoulders touched. Alberu felt himself get nudged over and pushed back. Choi Han's eyes gleamed with his competitive streak. They both ended up in a weird inverse tug of war, nudging turned into pushing, turned into shoving. Alberu's shoulders got pushed into the bed frame, and Choi Han's pushed into the desk. They continued their little game until Alberu fell onto his hands and knees. Right before they both exploded into a fit of giggles.

Choi Han stood up, and his hands outstretched towards him.

Alberu let himself get pulled up by his trustworthy Class Vice President, their laughter still evident in their voices. Choi Han's hands lingered just a little longer as the laughter slowly died from their voices. Alberu's hands rested on his chest with a smile and a cocked eyebrow. He gently pushed himself away and wiped his hands on his legs.

"So... did you hear about the new student?" Alberu fixed his hair self-consciously, fishing for information however he could, with whatever source he could. Choi Han nodded, pulling down his own uniform shirt.
