Chapter 6

•Ross•
So I've been told were doing a meet and greet in about an hour.

Way to keep us informed Ryland....

I throw on a plain yellow T-Shirt, A&F faded ripped jeans, and my converse.

"Ross?" My mom says as she comes into my room.

"Yeah?" I reply

"Do you want mommy to do your hair?" She asks smirking. Now that I think about it, she should.

"Sure." I chuckle as she fixes my hair.

"Oh and Rydel texted Courtney. She'll be meeting us there but Courtney will be sitting with me watching you guys. Okay?"

We usually have Courtney stay by my mom during our concerts, Q&A's, and meet and greets so she doesn't get mobbed by fans.

"Okay. Thanks mom." She smiles and kisses my cheek. "Your welcome sweetie."

"Just so you know, Rydel is actually an evil witch. Don't hug her." Rocky told a little girl about 5 years old. The little girl was standing there looking absolutely confused.

"Rocky!" Rydel exclaimed and smacked his head. "Don't worry sweetie he's just messing with you. What's your name?" Rydel said walking towards the little girl. "Milly." She said while Rydel smiled.

"Milly, don't be scared of Rocky. He's just being mean. Okay?" And Milly nodded. She then gave Rydel a hug.

"Bye Milly!" We all said after the photographer took our photo. Milly smiled and waved. Her name is actually pretty cute.

•Courtney•
After the meet and greet, I had to confront Ross about what he did.

"Hey Court." Ross said as he went to kiss my cheek, but I blocked his hand away.

"What?" He chuckled.

"Care to explain what you did." I said and he stood there confused.

"What did I do?" He asked.

"Don't act so innocent Ross. You know damn well what you did!" I exclaimed. Then I noticed everyone was starring at us.

I plastered a smile and looked to the rest of the family. "Excuse us." I said and dragged Ross outside.

"What is this about?" Ross asked and I shook my head.

"What you did to some sweet fangirl after Milly came." I said and he still looked confused.

"The girl who wore a 'Heart Made Up On You' T-Shirt? I don't know what I did! So just tell me!"

"You touched her." I said plainly.

"I... Wait.... I GAVE HER A HUG!!!! What was I supposed to do?! Ignore her completely, or ignore any of my fans?!" He says raising his voice.

"It would be nice." I said.

"What's that supposed to mean? I care about my fans, Courtney! It feels nice to meet my fans and find out what their like! I'm sure the rest of the band feels that way as well." Ross said.

"Oh here we go again. Talking about your R5 Family who you care so much about. What about me Ross? Don't you care about me? You spend a lot more time with your fans than you do with me." I admitted.

Ross sighed and looked at me. "I'm not having this talk with you again. You know I care about you! But this is my career, my dream! I care about this too!" He shouted and I turned away.

"You know what?" He said and I turned back to him. "What?" I muttered.

"I need a break." He said and my eyes went wide. "A break from what?" I asked, desperate for his answer.

"A break from us." He said and walked away.

Did he really just break up with me?

I feel terrible but it had to be done. I need a break from Courtney. Every week we have this conversation about how she thinks I don't care about her.

I shake my head and sit down on the couch backstage.

"Is everything okay Ross? I heard shouting from outside." Rydel said plopping a seat next to me.

"Well, I had a fight with Courtney." I sighed.

"Is this about R5 again?" She asked and I nodded. "She'll get over it. This is our dream Ross. I don't want to sound rude but, I don't want your girlfriend getting in the way of our career." She sighed and looked at me.

"Well, there's nothing to worry about Delly." I said.

"How are you so sure of that?" Rydel asked and I looked at her. "Because I just broke up with her."

"Oh I'm sorry Ross." Rydel said and I shrugged. "It's alright. I'm going to head out." I said standing up.

"Where you going?" She asked.

"I'm going to go see Laura. Have Riker tell mom for me please. He'll know who I'm talking about."

"Okay." Rydel said while smiling.

-To: Laura;
Hey it's Ross.

I sent the text message and waited a few minutes for a reply.

-From: Laura;
Oh hey Ross. What's up?

-To: Laura;
Actually I need someone to talk to besides my family. Can we meet?

-From: Laura;
Of course! I'm actually at StarBucks. Meet me here?

-To: Laura;
Sure. I'll see you in a few. 😜

-From: Laura;
Okay! 😝

I hope Laura gives good advice because I'm torn right know.

~Rourtney broke up.

~Do you think Ross made a good choice by breaking up with Courtney? 

Oh and I have a question!!! Do you think I should change the cover? I already have it made. Maybe I could change it and see what you people think. If you don't like it, I'll change it back. BUT PLEASE COMMENT AND TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO!!!
