Courtney
They say you don't know what you have until it's gone. And I can say that's true, from personal experience.

I hate the person I've become.
A cheater.
A liar.
A control freak.
My lack of empathy.

I let the attention of dating Ross get to my head.

I've been talking with Laura for a little while and I think she'll really help me turn over a new leaf.

She's a very positive person. She's open minded and super friendly.

I wouldn't say we're besties. But we enjoy each other's company (or at least I enjoy hers).

My phone dings and I grab it.

From: Laura :
Hey girllll...  I'm in Florida for a couple of days. Whatcha want for a souvenir??! ;)

I smile at the text.

Ross
I have mixed feelings about Laura befriending Courtney. I don't want to be that boyfriend who tells his girlfriend who she can and can't be friends with.

I'm just focusing on my relationship and my family. Laura and I have been going strong for a while and I couldn't be happier.

The band is on pause for the time being. With Ellington and Rydel going their separate ways, we have all been taking time for ourselves so when we make new music it's better then ever.

Laura and I are in Miami doing some sight seeing. Since my family and I haven been here quite a few times before I'm showing her around all the hot spots.

"Look Ross!" Laura gasps and I turn in her direction.

Sonic Boom the sign reads.

There's a sign on one of the doors
TROMBONES ON SALE

"Whatcha say Ross? Wanna show me your trombone skills?" She chuckles and I grin.

"Actually I don't know how to play trombone. But I can play piano, drums, guitar, even harp."

"How did I become involved with someone so multi talented?" She says as she puts her hand on my chest and stares into my eyes.

I grab her hands and I push my forehead against hers.

"How did I get involved with someone with such a beautiful spirit?" I smile and she is already blushing, with her smile beaming from ear to ear.

"Come on, let's go get some dinner." I say and she turns and looks at the music store. A group of people, four to be exact, are walking out of the music store. Laura didn't approach them, but from a distance we notice each one of them is doing something different. One is recording, one is singing, one is writing in a book, and the other looks like she's, yelling?

Laura sighs, takes my hand, and we start to walk away. I glance back at the group and think to myself Friendship is everything. I hope whatever they do in life they can do it together.

Holy moly hello guys!
This is just a filler chapter (just like the past few have been). I do have some ideas with this but I have a feeling I'm not gonna have the energy to finish it because I don't know how to end it.

Who's still here with me? What has everyone been up to??

Fun fact, I'm just getting over the covid virus. Yeah, it sucks.

Anyway if anyone is still here leave me a comment! I love talking with you guys and seeing what you have to say!
