Just so you know, there's no way I could make it without you guys ☺️ (Please read AN at the end!)

Laura
I sit on my bed in shock. After Riker told me he asked Vanessa to marry him, I just had to talk to Vanessa myself. When I got home, her car wasn't here so, yeah. Just sitting on my bed.

Why would he ask her to marry him? They've only been dating a little over a year. However, they have that cliche life where they became friends, to best friends, then began dating.

I just don't know what to think! Insane? Cliche?

I then hear the front door close.

"Riker asked me to marry him. Oh my god! MY HEAD IS SPINNING!" She shouts. Yup, Vanessa's home.

I walk into living room and see Vanessa with her head in her hands.

"Huh, Mrs. Vanessa Lynch. Suits you well." I say while smirking.

"Shut up and help me!" She exclaims.

"Fine." I say and sit next to her on the couch. "So engaged or not your doing the show, right?" I ask.

"Yup. I'm also going to be known as Bay Kennish. Switched at Birth with a deaf girl." She says. "But, I will also have a love interest so Riker would be just a tiny bit jealous."

Tiny bit? More like a lot. Vanessa, Riker, and I went to the mall one time and a guy working at Anne's Pretzels started dropping stupid pick up lines on Vanessa and lets just say Riker got escorted out of the mall.

"Right. Anyway what about R5? He would be moving to Sacramento with you and everyone else would be left here." I say and Vanessa groans.

"Your right! I totally forgot about the band." She says.

"It's not your fault V. He want thinking clearly. Don't take that offensively! He just doesn't want to loose you." I say.

"And I don't want to loose him either. But you know what they say; if you love someone, let them go." She says.

"So you know what you gotta do?" I ask.

"Yup. Hey I'm gonna go out to the bar. I just really need a drink. Wanna come?" She asks.

"Maybe in two years." I say

"Right, I'm sorry. Not thinking right." She says.

Duh.

Nobody's POV• (very short)
As Vanessa watches her underage sister walk away, she gets her phone out and composes a new message.

To: Rikerlicious ;
Hey. Umm.. I'm really sorry to say this but I can't marry you. I took the job offer and I have to be in Sacramento by next weekend. I think it's best we break up. If you wanna talk, I'll be at my house packing for the next week. This is for the best.
I love you, Vanessa

Ross
"I can't believe you asked Vanessa to marry you." I say.

Riker shrugged, "I technically didn't ask her to marry me. It just sorta came out. Anyway, how's it going with you and Laura?" He asks.

"We're doing great!" I gush. "Laura's the best. It's like everyday we spend together, it turns into the best day ever. And I'm with her almost everyday so it's like everyday is the best day ever!"

"Dude I get it. Whenever your with Laura, it's the best day ever. Don't ramble on about it." He says.

Rude

"Well you asked and it's the truth." I say. He just stares at me. And it's kinda creepy.

"Stop staring at me!" I yell.

"Sorry. But what about Courtney?" He asks.

"What about her? I'll tell you something about her, she's a fricken cheater who cares only about herself. She was the one cheating on me yet she got mad every time I talked to a fan. That's just stupid!"

"That's not what I was asking." He manages to say. "What I wanted to say was how can you still love her and be with Laura? That's like the definition of a man whore."

I've seriously have had enough

"Look, I'm quickly getting over Courtney. And when I say quickly, I mean quickly. Spending all this time with Laura gives me reasons to love her and not someone else."

"So, you love Laura?"

"No. Not exactly. I love things about her but I just haven't known her long enough to show my love for her." I say.

That actually makes no sense

"You mean sex?" He asks.

"No you idiot! You know what, never mind. You have your problems and I have mine. Leave me room."

"Someone's on their period." Riker mumbles as he leaves my room.

I grab my guitar and start strumming to a song I wrote when I was 17.

When the crowd wants more, I bring on the thunder

'Cause you got my back and I'm not going under

Your my point, your my guard, your the perfect cord

And I see our names together on every build board
----------------------------
I'm so sorry for the wait! Bowling, work, school, Christmas! Just got caught up in all of that. Plus, my dad disconnected the wifi 🙁.

Anyway, I was thinking about writing a book on here but it doesn't belong to me. It's written by Jodi Picoult. She's a really great author and I'm currently reading one of her books called 'Lone Wolf' and it's really good! Would anyone be interesting in reading it if I published it on here?

I love you guys! -Brittni
