The solar system, it was pretty dark quiet, as per usual. I mean — why wouldn't it be? Anyways, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune were all sleep, including the Sun. Earth, Venus, and Uranus remained awake in their respective orbits, just in cloudy thoughts. Though—2025 had hit? Already? Last year felt like a racetrack. The surface of Earth was wilding as if it was the year 2000 all over again, but Earth didn't really care. It wouldn't change anything, would it? Pollution, harm, and criminal activity? What else could there possibly be? A lot. And he knew that. But Earth was pretty bored just spending this new year all by himself, so he considered it for a moment before heading over to Venus.
"Venus!!!" Earrh called out in an enthusiastic tone. Venus turned his gaze over to Earth swiftly, a look of boredom visible.
"...What?" He asked. There was silent for a moment, but only for a moment before Earth spoke up again.
"Listen...I know we have like- different new years and stuff, but please? Just this once? You and me! A new year's celebration!" Earth asked.
"You know what? Why not, I'm bored to the core anyway." Venus said.
Yeah uh, this one was very rushed. It's nearly midnight for me, but I'm partially back at least? Very late new years.
