Carvial pt. 2

Okay so.... As a gift to you guys for the short chapters, my favorite band.

Gabe and I have been doing everything imaginable at this carnival. We'd been on a few small rides and all the big ones. There was even a small rollercoaster that we went on a lot.

I even convinced him to get a matching face painting of a rainbow with me. His went from the left side of his chin, across his nose, and circled to the right side of his forehead.

Mine was the same, but vise versa.

But that one guy, Balthazar, kept looking at me and licking his lips and stuff. It was really disturbing.

Gabriel followed my gaze, and looked the guy over. He looked us over, then fixed his eyes on Gabe. He turned and gave me the look that said "You may have been cute, but your friend over there is sm-oh-kin."

I instinctively grabbed Gabe's hand and drag him towards the Ferris wheel.

It's not like I'll ever see that guy again, I thought to myself.

Everything will be fine.

Right?

Wrong.

When we got home that night, we were told that we would have a new roommate, seeing as there were no more dorms. They said they'd find another solution as soon they could. So now we were waiting for the guy outside of the office.

Gabriel started to hyperventilate and grabbed my hand. I walked to the other side of him, our fingers intertwined, and put my arm around him.

"Hey, hey, everything will be fine, I'll be there to protect you okay? We may not have known each other long, but I really do like you, and I hate seeing you upset or hurting. Okay?" He nods and I pull him into my chest.

"How do you like me? I basically act like a scared 6 year old all the time." He mumbles into my chest.

"Because that's not how I see it." I say simply and he pulls his head up from my chest slightly, enough to where he can see my face.

"Then what do you see it as?"

Before I could answer, a blue Dodge Charger pulls up, concealing our new roommate. Then he comes out.

That guy Balthazar.

When he got out he looked Gabriel over, again, and wolf whistled. "You are much more attractive up close, like dayum!" He said in this British accent that made me want to punch him. I love British accents. Not on him.

"Wait, what?" Gabe whispered to me.

"I'll explain later, ok?" He nodded, but looked kind of confused. I took his hand, that I didn't even realize I let go, and intertwined our fingers.

"Yeah um. K. Come on, We'll show you the dorm room." I say, and turn around with Gabe, still keeping our hands locked together.

We begin to walk, and next thing I know, Balthazar was in between Gabe and I.

"Dude what the fuck is your problem?!" I yell at him.

He sarcastically puts his hands up in defense and walks ahead. "I know where to go." He says walking backwards.

I grab Gabriel's hand and pull it to my lips, pouting in possession.

Gabriel looks even more confused but doesn't complain.

I can't believe this guy is supposed to be rooming with us. I don't even want him near Gabe, and now he has to live with him.

Like, excuse you, as of this morning we were official. You can't take him away.

Mine.

My Gabriel.

No touch.

I said those last three things out loud though, by accident, to the slowly (very, very slowly, like move yo ass) moving back Balthazar.

Gabriel just giggled. It was adorable.

"I'm not adorable." He pouted.

"Shit I said that out loud. Again..."

He just giggled again and dragged me forward.

On Monday, we were on our way to class, and I was holding Gabriel's hand.

He saw some students off in the distance, and let go of my hand.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I ask, loping between him and them, confused.

"Nothing..."

"Your a really bad liar, you know."

"Hey, I had you going for a week about my cuts." He said to me, making me cringe.

I kiss both of his wrists gently. "Don't mention that. What is it?"

"Okay okay, it's, um. I just don't want you to be seen with me. I'm already cast out, I'm the lone wolf here at this school, at any school I've been to, granted that was only like 3 schools, and I mean even my mom didn't want me and my dad he left us and it's apparently my fault but the point is being seen with me is literally the definition of social suicide and I don't want you to have to go through that not for me not even its total hell and I'm running out of breath seeing as I'm talking really fast and rambling and I'm sorry-" I kiss him so he'd actually shut up.

"Well now you have a pack. And it's not just me, see?" I say as Charlie and -what was his name..... Oh- Castiel walk up.

"Hey guys what's up." Castiel starts, he's also not speaking very slowly. "Hey Sam, Dean told me you were smart and I was wondering if you could help me imdatingyourbrother with number nine." He said, covering up that one part with a 'cough'.

I laughed and responded with, "oh it's simple, you just divide the denominator with the numerator and imdatingyourstoo multiply the answer by ten."

I look up and smile innocently, as he looked at me with shock. I chucked and grabbed Gabriel's hand again, listening to Charlie due in the background.

"What the hell just happened?" Is the last thing I hear.

I hold his hand all the way to class, and also when we sat down in science, where the desks were pairs.

People gave us funny stares, but I glared at them, and I think the height really pushed them in the right direction.

Gabe and I realized that the coffee shop and the candy shop were right next to each other. And we had almost the same shifts. Breaks were different, and so was the last shift, but most there.

Balthazar kept looking at Gabriel and winking and flirting... Like seriously! Step off!

Gabe didn't exactly get the fact that he was being hit on, considering he's not so good at reading people (which was adorable. He always is...) and just seemed to take the flirting as friendly gestures. I even send him mind threats. He doesn't receive them, but it still helped.

I will hurt you very badly...mine.

I really just want to pound you.

Step o f f my man.

Dude I'm going to stab you.

I just wanna run you over.

I've learned over the week about Gabriel's pranks he likes to pull on people.

The quiet, adorable, lone wolf, enjoyed to pull epic tricks on people.

This should be fun.
