"Gabe, happy 10 year anniversary baby!" I say through choked sobs. And to think, it was Balthazar who shot him.

I knew he was trouble, but I didn't think he would to this. They were on opposite sides of the war in Iraq, and the second Balthazar saw him, he fired. It was all on Gabe's helmet cam. Only I was able to watch it. I'm his- I was- his husband.

I went home completely distraught, to the home, the very large home, that We share with Charlie. That I share with Charlie. Well, no, we. Gabe and I have a daughter. Gabriel was the donor, and her biological mother, well her name was Tessa. Tessa shared a lot of the same genes as me, and now, Tessa is actually a close friend. We call her our reaper, the name seems fitting considering she helped us grieve, reminding us that he was in a better place. We named our daughter after her, Jessica. We call Tessa "Tess" a lot, as a nickname, so we call Jessica, "Jess."

Tessa was more of a sister to us. For 6 years, she helped us with things we needed, with parenting. Jess is only four, my beautiful, spirited, sweet baby girl. I love her so much!

Tessa is becoming a real mother to my baby girl. We are in no way, a healthy, or normal family, but I promise you, it will work. Now it's just me, Charlie, and Tessa.

Balthazar blew up in an explosion, caused by a bomb their side planned in using to attack ours. All I have to say is that is fantastic.

Oh my baby... That's sweet of you, but it's no special spot. I'm saving that for you. God is wonderful, and we get to share our heaven! We call him chuck.

He told me that Balthazar was in hell. He apparently was a fallen angel, and he went against him so he could rape people... HE TRIED TO RAPE ME!

Baby, you won't receive this message until your on your way, which I hope and pray won't be for a very, very long time. Jessica looks as beautiful as ever, and I promise, I'll always be that little angel on your shoulder. And even if your not dead... You'll always be mine... I love you baby.
