I mean, what reason does he have to lie?

But if he is lying, then he does have a reason.

But Sam never lied.

I climbed into the boat.

I undid the rope.

I began to paddle out.

I hear footsteps. "I'll leave, hold on I just forgot my.... What are you doing..?" He whispered the last part.

I realized I had the rope around my neck.

He has tears in his eyes and he's taking his shirt off.

He jumps in.

I jump out.

I begin to choke, the rope already short getting caught on a piece of wood that sticks out.

Everything begins to go black, the water consuming my breath....

And next thing I know, I'm coughing up water, laying in the boat, the rope off of my neck.

After a few minutes of me choking, I can finally breathe. I look over at Sam, who is sobbing uncontrollably on the side on the canoe.

"Sam, why did you do that?" I whispered, somewhat angrily.

"Wh- why did I dO THAT??? OH I DON'T KNOW! I MEAN ITS NOT LIKE I'D RATHER HAVE THE GUY I LOVE ALIVE OR ANYTHING!!!"

"YOU DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU WERE GETTING A BLOWJOB FROM THAT GUY AT WORK?!"

"I LOVE HOW YOU DONT BELIVE ME. I love... How... Y-You don't. Believe me. I can't believe you don't believe me..." He whispered the last part, and something happened to me. I began to cry too.

"I don't know what to bel-believe... I saw you. I c-can't. I don't know."

"I called the police on lucifer. Something I should have done a while ago. But I've always been afraid he'd get away and-" his voice broke.. "And hurt you..." He tackled me in a hug, which resulted in us almost falling over.

"Sam I love you too!!"
