AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey guys, hope you like this. Let me know what you think. I want to hear feedback. Leave comments letting me know what you think. :)

I watched Emily closely. Her mouth hung open as she stood there shocked or memorized. I wasn't sure which. I could just feel the mixture of emotions coming off her. Finally she smiled at me. She opened her mouth to speak, but I held my hand up.

"Before you say anything, there's more," I said trying to stay calm. She looked at me and listened carefully. I told her every detail of the past few days. I mentioned everything from my parents death to the almost kiss with Alex to what just happened in the bathroom. She now knows everything I did and she knows every emotion and thought that ran through my mind. I smiled once I finished explaining. It felt almost as if a great burden was lifted off my shoulders. I looked at her waiting for her to freak out.

"Well I guess that is a pretty damn good reason for not talking to me all weekend," she teased, "Elena, I don't know what to say. This is pretty cool, I think. I'm not sure I'm still trying to process everything." She laughed which made me feel relieved. This went great. I thought she would scream or be mad or something.

"So you aren't mad? You don't want to run away from me," I asked cautiously.

"Nope," she said popping the p, "you're stuck with me for life now." A huge grin spread across my face. Thank God. I was so happy she finally knew and she didn't think of me any differently. My phone buzzed in my pocket for the billionth time. I pulled it out and saw Jeremy calling. I also had 45 texts and 2 missed calls from him and Alex. Emily laughed at my annoyed face as I pressed the answer button.

"Hello," I answered using my sweetest most innocent voice. I smiled even though he can't see my face. I know he is freaking out.

"Where are you," he questioned. His voice was stern and definitely mad.

"Well don't you just get straight to the point."

"Yeah and I wish you would," he snapped. Then I heard him sigh. It was quiet for a moment before he finally spoke up, "I'm sorry, its just," I heard him take a deep breath.

"You worry." I finished his thought.

"Only because I love you and I don't want to loose you." I shot Emily death glares as she burst out laugh. I knew she was laughing at my blushing face. I just can't help it, though, he knows how to make a girl feel special with the right words.

"Elena," he sighed, "where are you." I had a sudden feeling that somebody was near by. Not exactly near by, but within two miles. That's something witches can do. We can sense the presence of people within a five mile radius. That was something else I read in my mom's spell book. I closed my eyes and I knew who it was.

"Where are you," I smirked.

"Elena, stop being like this."

"Nope, and besides I think know exactly where you are."

"At school. Now tell me where you are." I grabbed Emily's arm as he said that and started running. No way was I going to let him find me. I need a break from this being protected thing. I decided Emily and I were going to have a girls' day without any supernatural crap.

"No you aren't," I smirked even though he couldn't see me.

"Yes, I am."

"Why aren't the hallways noisy?" He sighed knowing he was defeated.  "You are in the woods looking for me. I'm with Emily by the way. Oh and she knows everything."

"Elena, really! You should've talked to me first. That could've been extremely stupid."

"Too late." I smiled as we walked out the woods and on to a road. I knew exactly where we were. If I followed this road then we would be on a very busy street, where the sidewalks would be crowed with people, in a minute. "Oh and just so you know you were two miles off from finding us." I hung up on him. Emily and I busted out laughing as we ran for the busy sidewalk, just in case he kept following, so we could duck in crowds.

"You know he just loves you and is trying to keep you safe," Emily said looking at me as we slowed to a walk on the crowded sidewalk. I knew it he did and was just trying to keep me safe and I really appreciate it. Emily looked at me with her all knowing eyes.

"I know," I sighed.

"Then why do you torture him like this," she asked. I knew I tortured him by doing this, I just didn't want to admit it. That's why I love and hate Emily. She points out the truth even when I don't want to hear it.

"I don't want to hurt him or torture him. I just hate how Chris, Alex, and especially Jeremy act like I'm glass. I am not some fragile little thing. I'm a big girl. I can handle myself and last time I checked I was the most powerful witch ever. I'm pretty sure I don't need a bodyguard every second of the day," I honestly told Emily. Emily nodded her head. We walked in a nice silence for a few minutes.

Emily broke the silence, "Let's go to the mall. I'm sure there will be cute guys and I think you are missing a broomstick and pointy hat." We laughed at her lame joke. I don't know exactly how long we spent in the mall, but it was dark when we left. We walked to Dan's Dinner. I loved that place. I went there almost every weekend. I knew every employee included the owner himself. They were like a second family. I actually call the owner Uncle Dan because he is like  an uncle to me and Sam.

We walked in and Dan was standing behind the counter. He walked around and hugged us. "Elena and Emily, how are two of my favorite girls? Where is Sam," he smiled at us as we took a table. His voice was calming and kind like always.

"Hey, Uncle Dan," I smiled.

"We are fine," Emily answered, "Oh and can we get the usual?"

"Of course," he answered then turned around to yell our order to Gloria.

"Hey girls," Gloria smiled at us. We smiled back.

"Sam and I are kind of fighting so I have no idea where she is," I answered Dan's question. Dan just smiled and nodded his head. I knew he understood.  Emily and I sat there eating and discussing the few hot boys we stalked. I made it my life's mission to find her a soul mate.

"I want a sexy, caring vampire like Jeremy," she teased.

"Sorry he's taken, but you can have Alex," I joked back. We laughed. I heard the bell ring signaling somebody had entered the dinner. Emily and I both glanced at the door and saw the very people we hated along with a certain somebody that I needed to talk to.
