I walked out of the steamy bathroom feeling refreshed. I quickly through on some shorts and a t-shirt then made my way to Paul's room. I walked in to see everybody already here and talking. I looked at Emily who gave me a look I understood too well. She wanted to be alone and in all honesty I did too. It would feel weird to say our goodbyes in front of everybody.
I looked at the group and spoke, "I think Liz might be a little suspicious if we are all in here."
"Not really. We are all saying goodbye to Paul and Chris and Em's dead body so it's logical," Shawn pointed to the flaw in my logic.
I sighed. "Alright that was my nice way of saying get out," I admitted to a smirking Shawn.
"Now," Emily added when nobody moved. I put my hands on my hips and gave the boys a stern look.
Shawn busted out laughing, "You guys really are in sync." I glanced over at Emily who was standing the same way as me. She stared back at me with a devilish smirk. Her eyes slightly narrowed. I could see the evil wheels spinning in her head.
"Hey Elena, do you remember that spell you were talking about a long time ago? The one that you said was ten times worse than what you did to Paul," Emily pondered. I instantly caught on to where she was heading.
"The one that was used in battles and can harm large groups of people," I questioned with a smirk playing at the corner of my lips. We both looked at the boys who were standing there slightly scared. I heard Paul gulp from where I stood.
"I'm out," he exclaimed, followed by Chris. The other three remained in their spots. Before Paul made it out the door he turned to them and warned, "I would leave now, mates. She can cause pain you have never experienced." Without another word he left. Jeremy and Alex showed no emotion. Their lips were in a flat line and their eyes looked rather bored. Shawn looked completely opposite. He stood there with a big, toothy, grin. His eyes glistened with excitement. I looked at Emily who just nodded, letting me know I can do as I pleased.
"Have you guys ever had somebody completely control your actions," I asked.
"Nope," Shawn answered, "but I have broken all the bones in my body at once. Then again every werewolf has." Jeremy nor Alex spoke.
"Pain or removal," I asked Emily.
"It takes too long to hurt them. Do that later. Just get them out," she commented slightly annoyed. I nodded and followed her request. I focused in on their brains. I found control of their limbs.
"Wow my head does not feel right," Shawn said.
"Shut up," I commanded. His mouth instantly closed. I smiled a little to myself. Sometimes being a powerful witch can be good. It takes hundreds of years for witches to master the skill of controlling other people's movements, but I had it down in a day.
"Now walk out the door and don't come back until I allow you to," I commanded. Their legs turned and carried them to the door. I could feel them trying to fight back, but I had full control. They didn't stand a chance. Once they crossed the door I let them have their control back. All three began to protest, but I slammed the door in their faces.
"That is so useful," Emily huffed, "I wish I could do that."
"Perks of having magical powers," I shrugged. We giggled for a second. Our giggling died down and we stood there in silence staring at each other with teary eyes. Suddenly, we were hugging each other tighter than a straight jacket could.
"Gosh you stink," I commented trying to be funny.
"Because I can't shower or change, since I am dead. Remember," she laughed. We pulled apart to look at each other. I laid down on the floor and sighed. Emily copied me. I tried to calm down a bit. We were both crying. This is goodbye, for a while anyways.
