"Elena, are you sure about this plan," Paul asked me skeptically. I don't blame him for being skeptical. The plan isn't bad, but when it comes to Emily he doesn't want not bad, he wants perfect.  I simply smiled at him. Okay, so my plan may not be the best plan ever, but I still think it's pretty damn good and better than anybody else's suggestions.

"Paul, it will be fine. I am positive," I reassured him. Everybody stared at me skeptically. "What," I asked confused.

Emily began to look worried, "Every time you are positive about a plan it usually winds up with you or an innocent bystander in the emergency room."

"That's not true," I argued.

"Yeah. Should I ask Grace to pull up yours and Emily's hospital records," Alex snorted.

"Who's Grace," I asked.

"She's the lady at the front desk," Chris answered, "We all know her, well not you obviously. Trust me, all of us have had numerous conversations with her."

"Actually," Emily chimed in, "I have only had one, but now thinking about it I am usually getting treated too." She then glanced at me, her eyes narrowed. She was blaming me.

"Yeah well," Alex announced, "I have been in there enough to know about her two kids graduating from the University of Alabama and how she is married to Ricardo and has two dogs and three cats."

"Actually I think Snowball passed away last time we were there, but she got a new fish," Chris commented to Alex.

"Really, but Snowball was so cute," Alex pouted.

"I know and-,"

"Anyways," I cut Chris off and glared at both him and Alex, "I don't see anybody with better plans so it's my plan or nothing." I glared at all of them for a minute or two before they agreed.

"Fine," Chris and Emily mumbled.

"I will get the first aid kit," Alex seriously responded, earning yet another glare from me.

"That's the spirit," Shawn cheerfully chimed. He liked my plan. Then again, he really didn't have to do anything so it was good for him.

"Somebody is coming," Alex whispered. The boys all nodded while Em and me stood there with our human hearing, not knowing who or what was coming.

"Play dead," Alex told Emily.

"I'm not a dog," Emily retorted.

"Maybe your boyfriend can teach you then," Alex joked.

Emily was about to respond when I pushed her to the floor. She gave me an angry look but knew why I did it. She closed her eyes and laid down as still as a log. I have to admit, she played a pretty good dead person. The rest of us put on sad faces. A timid knock sounded on the door before it slowly opened.

"Hey guys," John gently smiled, "There's food in the dining room." He stayed for a second. None of us responded at first. Finally I just smiled, a very small, gentle, and fake smile, and nodded. He took that as a yes and left, without any further comments.

"Wait to not look suspicious," Emily sarcastically sassed us. I rolled my eyes.

"Well I'm hungry," Shawn announced and headed towards the door. He reached the door then turned around saying, "Come on. I want food!" He stood there pouting waiting on us. I started to giggle at his ridiculousness. Paul kissed Emily and whispered something to her. She smiled and pecked him on the check. They were so cute together. I am beyond happy for them. Paul soon followed his brother with Alex, Chris, and I trailing behind. As we walked towards the dining room Chris started whispering to me.
