"Elena, what's going on? Why is your side cut," Jeremy flung questions at me, "Are you okay? What hurts? Can I help? I just heard you screaming and I came in and you were bleeding. I don't know what happened."

I let out a small laugh. I was terrified about what was going on but Jeremy somehow calmed me down instantly, even though he was freaking out. I literally was just about to burst into tears and flip out, but then I saw him and everything seemed to wash away.

"What's so funny," he asked. His eyebrows were raised in confusion, while his lips twitched up into an amused smile.

"Nothing really, just how concerned you are and how you are freaking out," I explained. Jeremy rolled his gorgeous, warm, chocolate brown eyes at me. Suddenly, a panicked Chris enter the room.

"Oh my goodness, is that blood? That's a lot of blood. What the hell happened? I came as soon as I got Jeremy's text," Chris rambled. In a flash he was by my side along with Jeremy.

"Chris," I shouted excitedly, throwing my arms around his neck to hug him. "I missed you. Sorry I never really called, it's just I figured you were busy and I would get caught up talking to Jeremy, that honestly I forgot," I quickly rambled explain myself to him.

"Elena, it's fine really. I was actually very busy. Now enough small talk, what happened to you," he asked getting straight to the point. He stared right at where the blood stained my shirt. I remembered the cut on my side, but shockingly I don't feel any pain like I did a minute ago. I just tried to sit up and excruciating pain shot through me and yet I can through my arms around Chris and sit up with no problem now. I lifted my shirt up slightly to look at the cut. I was completely befuddled when I didn't see anything. There wasn't even a scar there to prove that I had been cut.

"There was a cut, just a second ago," I mumbled to myself staring harder at my side, thinking I could find something. "Anyways," I cleared my throat giving the boys all my attention. I began to shake a little. All my calm was gone, as I tried to find the words to explain what happened. I tried telling the them every detail I could remember about the dream. By the time I told them everything, tears covered my face and more kept flowing from my eyes.

"So you didn't see if this shadow had a face or anything," Chris asked. He sounded so serious and professional. Jeremy remained silent, holding my hand. He rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb, absentmindedly. He stared at a wall, lost in thought. His face didn't give anything away, though. I wish I could just figure out what he is thinking.

"Like I said, Chris, this thing or person doesn't want me to know who they are. They had a cloaking spell or moved too fast or something because I just saw a blurry, shadow, figure, thing," I told him.

"What did the voice sound like?"

I began to shake remembering the voice. "Scary and evil. It was rough and scratchy. It was definitely controlling, though. It had a sense of authority, that made me feel inferior."

It grew quiet allowing my mind to wander. Fear, anger, and sorrow, coursed through me making it hard to control my powers and thoughts. My emotions were a mixed mess and my mind was all over the place. I had thoughts of how I wanted to rip the heart out of that shadow figure, tormenting my sister to thoughts of ripping my own heart out for being the cause of all this. My breathing was uneven. Heat radiated from my body. All of the worst nightmares I could possibly think of were still better than this reality. Everybody I love is in danger because of me. My sister is being tortured, meanwhile Chris and Jeremy are risking their lives to hunt her down save her and protect me. My parents died because of me. Sam looks almost dead, if my dream showed any truth. Sam. She must be so scared and hurt and it's all my fault. I could've saved her that night. I could've gone with them and told them to let her go. I could've. I should've. But I didn't.
