"Ow, Tink! Stop it, right now!" I plead, as the little fairy grabs onto my ear and drags it.

She then pushes me against a towering tree and I can tell she's mad from the looks of her extremely red face. When I think she's done causing damage, she pulls a strand of my hair into a muddy pond. I let out a loud scream as if that'd do me any good.

It's scary what a small fairy can do to a helpless human like me.

"What the hell?" I ask angrily, getting up from the pond.

Tink rests soundly on a branch of a tree close by and laughs at the sight of me covered in mud and water. I'm about to give her a piece of my mind, when I hear footsteps close by.

"Oh my God, Wendy!" Calum exclaims, rushing to my side.

Ashton and Michael trail behind while Luke laughs obnoxiously at me with one glance. Him and that wretched fairy of Peter's have the time of their lives while the three boys help to clean me up.

"This is too good! God, you're brilliant Tinker Bell!" Luke says, continuing to laugh out loud.

Calum shoots him a ticked off look and focuses back on me.

"Let's get you back to the house so you can wash up,okay?" he asks, already carrying me towards the treehouse.

His sudden action catches me by surprise and all I'm able to do is to hold onto him. Luke sneers at us all and walks the other way with Tinker Bell. Within seconds, the two are nowhere to be seen. I'm hoping they've embarked somewhere far.. far away from here as possible.

"Is he always like that?" I ask the lads, referring to Luke.

They sigh in unison and Ashton rushes in front of us for some backup info.

"No, not at all actually. When we were younger, Luke was the most fun out of all of us." Ashton explains," When Peter left, we decided to go to the Mainland to see how our families were."

I nod my head, trying to create an image of a younger Luke in my head.

"All of our families were in good shape between you and I.. with the exception of Luke's." Ashton continues.

Michael catches up beside us and continues Luke's past.

"Luke's family died in a car crash. It was all over the news at the time. Apparently, the reason for the accident is unknown to this day." Michael says.

By the time we make it to the house, I'm left sad with my thoughts. Calum fetches a spare flannel and boxers for me to change into after I'm done washing up. I thank the three boys for their assistance and make my way to their... "bathroom."

I look at the wooden tub full of water before me and peel my dirty clothes off from my body. As I clean myself up, I can't help but think about Luke.

I now understand why he acts like this. It must be difficult to live on knowing you weren't there for your family. No wonder Luke's changed.

After a long bath, I slip into Calum's flannel which fits like a dress on me. Eyeing his boxers, I tear excess fabric to make them fit better on me.

Calum's face lights up when I walk into the main room, where Ash and Michael are busy making dinner. Confused, I look outside to see the sun already setting. Time really does pass by quickly in Neverland.

"Is Luke not back yet?" I wonder, sitting beside Calum on a couch.

"Nope" Ashton answers while he starts the fire to cook the fish. I nod and fiddle with my fingers, not knowing what else to do. Looking around the main room, I notice Peter's 'throne' is still there in the middle of the wall farthest from me. Flashbacks take me back to when I told fairy tales every night to the boys before bedtime.

"Why do you guys stick around in this place?" I blurt out of nowhere.

My question takes them by surprise.

Michael thinks long and hard before answering. Ashton cooks in silence while Calum walks out into the balcony made of wood and leaves.

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything..

"I guess its cuz we've spent practically our entire lives here."Michael smiles sadly,"We'd go to college and start a new life but we're too dumb for that."

"Yeah,"Ashton seconds to that," We have the education of a fifth grader."

"Except Luke, that is." Michael points out as he sets the table.

Why is it that Luke seems to be the individual that's different from the others?

I look at the two intrigued and Ashton smiles at my visible interest on Luke. Pleading for them to go on, I sit in an empty chair at the table. Calum returns and sinks in the seat next to me while Ashton comes with a steaming pot of soup.

"Luke is uh.. different from all of us." Michael starts off, after he sets the fish and sits in front of me.

"He's smarter than all three of us combined." Calum snorts, pouring soup into a bowl for me.

I thank him for the soup and listen intently.

"He's a natural genius." Ashton sighs while looking back into the forest where Luke is.

"It's too bad he doesn't take advantage of it. His emotions are too much for him to handle.." Michael adds as stares into space.

Hm. Luke's a sensitive guy. Who would've known?

Before I get too far in, I ask one more question.

"Why does he hate me?" I ask irritatingly.

The three laugh in unison and I on the other hand, don't seem to get the joke they're in on.

"He doesn't hate you." Ashton states.

"That idiot has a huge crush on you." Calum chuckles lightly, making me spit out my soup.

"Excuse me?" I ask with wide eyes.

Michael laughs uncontrollably and says it one more time," Luke has a-"

"I have a what?" Luke interrupts as he comes inside, startling all of us.
