i watched in envy as my brother walked down the beach holding bree,s hand, they looked so happy they looked perfect, and i hated that my brother imprinted and i didn't, i heard them laughing as the wave came in splashing up there legs, she squalled as seth used her as a shield against the cold water, her scream turned into laughter as she turned her head and kissed him, everyone was here with their imprint except paul he hadn't came back since the incident with crystal and jake was walking here but was walking with nicole and embry was at home with bella but other than that there was no one here alone except for me "leah if you stare at them for any longer your eyes are gonna fall out" kim said while smearing sunscreen on her arms "jare, lift your arms up" she said to jared who was laying on the towel at her side, he lifted his arms and she began to massage the sunscreen into his skin "what are you doing?" i asked "i don't want him to burn and you know he wouldn't put it on himself" i rolled my eyes "he's a grown man kim, and why are you so concerned about his skin?" she started adding more on his chest and neck "cause i don't want him to be sun burnt and i care about him and his health" i raised my eyebrows "take your glasses off" she asked "why?" jared said while sitting up "so i can put sunscreen on your face" he furrowed his brows "what you think my eyes are gonna get sunburnt? that,s what these are for" he pointed at the sun glasses "okay fine" she said while squirting some on his back "kim you really don't h.." kim put a finger to her mouth "yes i do" i shook my head and stood up "i'm going for a walk" i walked away from them, the voices and laughter faded as i walked up the rocky hill and towards the top of the cliff, it was windy and cloudy, every once and a while there was a sliver of light but it quickly disappeared. when i reached the top of the cliff i walked to the part that dropped straight down i looked into the rough dark water, the water that i dreamed of jumping in the water that i knew all the boy's in the pack wanted to jump in, but sam said we can't not here he said it was dangerous that there was too many rocks at the bottom and that no one should, but i wanted to so badly, i closed my eyes as the cool wind hit my face, my hair whipped around and the water crashed into the rocks below me i took a deep breath in, my eyes shot open as the burning sweet smell filled my lungs vampire i saw a shin by the tree line as a sliver of light shot down, i focused on it and was shocked when i saw the face the first thing that came to mind was run

i held onto bree laughing as she wiped the ice cold water on my face "haha" she laughed when she realized that she didn't have just water on her hands, i felt my cheek then looked at my sand covered hand "thank you bree" she laughed again, i tried wiping more away but she grabbed my hand "no, no stop it looks good on you" i rolled my eyes "really? should i start wearing all sand now?" she nodded "yes" i laughed and looked away, i stopped laughing when i saw leah running away from the cliff waving her hands in the air screaming, i let go of bree and took a few steps forward "sam!" i yelled as i took off towards leah, everybody stared at me as i ran towards her "seth! seth run!" i ignored her and continued to her, she had blood smeared down her neck and onto her chest, i ignored the pain caused by the sharp rocks beneath my feet all that mattered is i get to her "NO SETH RUN!" she screamed "leah!" i caught her before she hit the ground, i held her in my arms as she sobbed while looking at the direction she came from, i followed her gaze "leah!" sam said while running up to us he had the rest of the pack with him, they all looked at what me and leah were staring in horror at i heard gasps come from all around me followed my growls and snarls as we stared at the smiling face before us
