i shouldn't do this, i thought to myself while passing back and forth in the quiet dark forest, what will she say? will she say anything at all? what if she doesn't even open the door? well she doesn't have to i could open it for her, i smiled to myself and walked up to her door. i know i most likely looked like a creep but yes i looked in her window, she was asleep on the couch i could hear the tv on and what sounded like a fan, i took a deep breath in and opened the door wait she doesn't lock it? i thought i would have to pick the lock, i walked in the house and looked into the living room this is a bad idea what the fuck am i doing? i walked up to the couch, she was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a sports bra and her hair was up in a bun, i smiled at her she is so beautiful and peaceful. i moved a strand of dark silky hair "crystal" i whispered "crystal wake up i need to talk to you" she groaned and opened her eyes, she looked at me for a minute and then her eyes grew wide and she shot up from her spot and and backed into the couch as far as possible "get away from me!"she yelled, i reached for her hand but she slapped it away "get away you monster! i'm calling 911!" she said while snatching her phone up "no!" i said while easily taking it from her "give it back paul!" she said while trying to pry it out of my hands but she failed "crystal! crystal listen i need to talk to you i came to apologize" she looked at me for a minute and seem to calm down so i let go of her hand, she jumped up and started running for the door "help me!" she screamed, i quickly grabbed her and pulled her back "crystal no one can hear you now stop!" i said while tossing her back on the couch "i am not here to hurt you i wanted to explain everything to you" she shook her head "i already know everything the, the werewolf the vampires and the imprint!" i looked at her "if you know everything then why are you scared?" she laughed "why am i scared?! there is a werewolf in my house! there is a fucking monster in my livingroom!" i felt the pain of how she described me, a monster? is that what i am to her? "crystal..i'm sorry but you have to believe me when i say i won't hurt you..you're my imprint i could never even dream of hurting you" she looked at me for a minute "paul..now that you imprinted..does that mean i'm stuck with you forever?" i looked up at her shocked at what i had just heard "not if you choose not to be..if that's what you want then i will stay away from you..it will be the hardest thing i've ever done..but i'll do it for you" i looked down realizing what was happening..she didn't want to be with me my "i have to go" i stood up and started walking towards the door "paul wait" she got up behind me and started to follow me "paul.." i walked out the door, i couldn't believe this was happening

i stared at the beautiful man in front of me,everything about him was amazing, his eyes his dark full lips his scent and shape, his face looked like it was carved by angels..he was an angel, i sat there with my mouth hanging open looking at him, the wind blew causing his long dark hair to move slightly and slowly across his face and his scent got stronger making me weak "don't to it please" he begged with his hand out towards me "you don't have to jump i can help you" i tilted my head, jump? did he think i was trying to..to kill myself? "please let me help you i promise you won't regret it you don't have to do this" i shook my head trying to focus on what he was saying instead of his body "i..i" i couldn,t find words inside myself to even talk i was too stunned to do anything i think i even forgot to breath for a minute, i took a step and lost footing and began to fall back, i let out a scream as i realized i was falling but suddenly i was pulled back up and my body slammed into his, i clung onto him like there was no tomorrow while staring down at what could've been my death, i was taking deep ragged breaths and he noticed "shh it's okay you're safe" he said while pulling me away from the cliff "i've got you it's okay" he said while rubbing soothing circles on my back, once i was done staring at the water i looked up at him, i was so close to him i could feel his warm breath on my face, my heart rate picked up as i looked him in the eye, his eyes were so dark and intense they were brown almost black and the most perfect almond shape i had ever seen and he had a think long row of lashes above them that fluttered like feathers when he blinked, the wind blew causing me to shiver and my short hair to go in my face "are you okay?" he asked in his perfect voice, he wasn't like any other guy i had ever seen instead of saying 'what were you thinking?!' or 'what the hell is wrong with you?!' he was wondering if i was okay "y-yes" i managed to say "come on let's get you off this cliff" he began to pull me closer to the edge that i came up "watch your step" i stepped up to the rock he was talking about but i didn't have to do much it seemed as if he was lifting me over them, was he or am i just too amazed to realize what i was even doing? i honestly didn't care "what's your name? is there somewhere i can take you do you need a place to stay?" it took me a minute to answer "i'm..leah. leah clearwater i live on the reservation a few miles away from here" he nodded "i'm waylon" i smiled at the thought of his name, waylon..my waylon "what were you doing up there? why would you want to jump?" i didn't have an answer to his questions if i told him i wasn't gonna jump surely he wouldn't believe me and if i say i jump off cliffs all the time he might think i'm crazy "i..i don't know" he lifted me over another cluster of large rocks "well it doesn't matter as long as you're safe" he said while looking down at me "leah clearwater...have we ever met? i feel so close to you like i've known you my whole life" shit what do i tell him? i..i don't think so" i looked up at him and he was already looking down at me, my cheeks turned pink and i looked away, we reached the bottom and i looked down at his hands was still around my waist, he cleared his throat and let go "sorry" i shook my head "don't be, you just saved my life" he looked down at me "leah, i just met you and i know that i have no say in what you do with your life..but please don't go back up there..not alone" i looked at him, he was staring me with pleading eyes "o-okay' he gave me a small smile "thank you...okay i know i already said this but i feel like i know you...i feel like we have met before...like we're connected" he looked at me and grinned "that probably sounds really dumb doesn't it?" i smiled "no..i feel the same way" he looked at me "you do?" i nodded, i couldn't believe he was mine, he looked at the parking lot and i looked up to see what he was looking at, there was a boy waving his hands in the air at us or him, he had long hair that was split into two long braids and it was hard to see his face i mean he was a fair distance away but from what i could tell he was a pretty decent guy..but nothing compared to waylon, but he was wearing the same thing the same dark short and no shirt, he sighed "i have to go" no, no he can't go "i'm sure i'll see you around i mean you live on the rez" i looked up at him "do you live on the reservation to?" i said with my heart full of hope "no.." disappointment shot through me "right outside the border though" my face lighted up again and i couldn't help but to smile, he may not live on the rez but at least he doesn't live really far away "well i have to go..will you be staying here?" i knew what he meant by that he was wondering if i was going to be here on the beach alone and if i would wander up to the cliff again "no i have to go home my brother will be home soon" he smiled "okay..well see you later..leah" i smiled when he said my name "bye waylon" he gave me one last breath taking smile and sprinted off towards his friend, i watched him run across the beach till he met his friend he stopped and began talking they were too far away for me to hear even with my wolf hearing, i watched for about a forty seconds and then all the sudden his friend glanced up at me. waylon punched his arm and he looked away were they talking about me? was he saying bad things? did he tell his friend i was gonna jump?or was he saying good things like the connection he felt? i could see them laughing and they began walking toward the truck that was parked in the lot, i watched as he shoved waylon in a joking way which insured me that he was saying good things, i smiled to myself and began running as fast as i could

i looked up and saw alawa waving his arms in the air dammit "i have to go" she looked down "but i'm sure i'll see you around i mean you live on the rez" she looked up with a smile crossing her face "no.." she frowned again "right on the border though" she smiled again "well i have to go..will you be staying here?" she shook her head "no my brother will be home soon" i smiled "okay..see you later..leah" he face light up, she is so beautiful when she does that, i don't know what it is about this girl but i fell in love instantly "bye waylon" i thought she was gonna pop if she smiled any harder, i gave her one last smiled causing her to blush, i turned and ran towards alawa, when i finally got there he gave me questioning look "who's that?" he said while glancing back in between me and leah "um..it's leah clearwater" he raised an eyebrow "and who is leah clearwater?" my heart rate picked up when i heard her name "just a girl" he grinned "ahh yeah..just a girl a hot girl" i rolled my eyes punched his arm, i started walking towards his truck "just a hot girl that you totally turn red in the cheeks for" i playfully shoved him, i looked back at her but she was gone
