i awoke with a small sweaty baby on my bare chest, i smiled down at nicole and pushed the hair off her sticky face, i knew that i should get her off before she over heats but she was so peaceful and i was comfortable so why move? i slowly closed my eyes hoping i would get more sleep but that idea was short lived when all the sudden my door burst open and there was a very alarmed embry "jake! we need you quil just saw one of the cullens near the treaty!" i sat up with nicole who was now crying and ran to my dads room still in nothing but boxers "dad!" i yelled, he jumped awake and looked at me with wide and confused eyes "dad i need you to take nicole!" i didn't have time to explain i handed him the crying baby after i pecked her on the forehead and began running "jacob!" he yelled after me "the cullens dad!" he didn't say anything else after that he knew what it meant i ran out the door with embry at my side, i managed to get my boxers off as i ran and threw them on the ground before phasing into my giant wolf we ran through the forest line by seth's house and i let out a loud howl to alert him about the situation, we ran side by side till we could hear sam's voice in our heads

*sam* quil paul com on, jake embry you with me?

*jake* yup

me and embry both answered at the same time

*sam*quil where exactly did you see them?

*quil* about two miles from here

sam nodded and we ran faster hoping to not loose him

*jake* do you know who it was?

*quil* i have no idea there was a blond guy and and short girl

i knew exactly who he was talking about he saw jasper and alice

*paul* there was two of em?

quil nodded and i knew inside paul was smiling like a motherfucker you could kinda tell that he was smiling even in wolf form he had an evil grin that could haunt anyone in the sleep

*paul* oh there just trying to make this fun, let's go catch us some fucking blood suckers!

he roared as we picked up speed, i looked to my side and noticed that seth was now with us, ware was leah? i hadn't seen her since we left a few day's ago when she had gotten attacked by the blood sucker we were after now, seth must've heard my thoughts because he was growling and just a about clawing at the air as if they were in front of him now, what was his problem? one mention of leah and he goes ape shit, i looked at embry who must of been thinking the same thing cause he was looking at seth as well, i shrugged it off i couldn't be worried about what's going on between leah and seth right now the only thing that should be in my head right now is focus, find, kill, and that's it nothing else

seth~

i walked out to the kitchen and filled a glass of water and began to chug it my mouth was so dry, which means i slept with my mouth open and my teeth hurt which meant i was clenching my teeth which also means i'm stressed i only do that in my sleep when i've been stressed and ever since the whole thing with leah i've been stressed as hell, i refilled the glass and happened to of glanced up at the window only to see glimpses of what looked to be jake and embry running and then there was an ear piercing howl, there's something wrong, i ran towards the door and leah was there as well "seth what's going on?!" she asked while taking her shirt off "your not coming!" she paused and looked at me "what.." i tore my shirt off and looked at her "you are not coming" she tried to walk out with me but i shoved her back "no leah! we don't need you! stay here!" i said while stripping down to nothing but my underwear and taking off towards the forest where i had seen jake and embry, truth is i knew we probably need all the help we could get and leah is a damn good fighter but there is no way in hell i'm letting her leave, i looked back one last time now in my full wolf form, leah sat in the door frame staring at me with eyes full of sadness and tears, i looked away and tried to get that image out of my head, i felt her stare on me as i ran deeper into the woods knowing i had to get rid of the thoughts of what just happened and come up with a good reason as to why leah is absent, i finally caught up to them they were in the middle of discussing who it was they saw, jake glanced over at me and i knew he was looking for leah who was no wares in sight

*jake* wares leah?

i heard jake say in his head probably unaware i was listening, i growled at the thought of her name dammit jake i just got her out of my head! i had to get rid of the thoughts if sam found out he would be furious, i had managed to hear the name of the vampire we were hunting and it made my blood boil the thought of his name repulsed me jasper he was the one who attacked leah, i had to focus on that the thought of killing him, i began to snarl at the thought of him and i found myself clawing at nothing as i ran and ran and picked up speed, kill jasper kill jasper kill jasper! was all i said over and over again

leah~

i watched as seth ran to going the hunt, he turned one last time to look at me. i stared at him for a good five seconds before he ran away, i once again let the tears from my brother fall as i stood there in the doorway wishing i was running with them, i sniffed and whiped at the tears, fine if he doesn't want me to come than i won't he pissed me off and i was going to do the same to him, i was going to the cliff
