We were in the middle of a battle. It was a war between the finest. A fight that could of lasted all day if we didn't have our own personal agendas ahead. The enemy needed to go to work in an hour and Blake had given me Finn duty.
"Seems like we're at a crossroad, Beautiful Princess." The foe stated with smugness. In his hands, he held a small plastic make-swift sword and a narrow shield called Colgate. He thought to have the advantage but sadly, he did not because I owned the best weapon of all.
"Seems like we are, dear Knight. Whatever shall we do?"
"Whatever the princess prefers."
We begun to circle the other, keeping a certain amount of distance. No decision was stated aloud but he took precaution just in case. I could tell by his hard look he was deciding combat tactics rather than protection plans.
Poor thing, did he honestly believe he could defeat me? The girl who practically grew up fighting for herself? Who was considered sneaker than any burglar. Okay, almost as sneaky. It wasn't my fault Quickie Quick decide to patrol the Stop & Go that evening.
Me and Blake could have made it out of the store if the sidekick's loud mouth hadn't drawn so much attention. I bet if Navy Night never showed, I would still be picking locks. Sometimes it's irritating to think we were forced into these fools grand life than I second guess it's alright they caught us.
Blake is getting the education he deserves. He is meeting new people who he can interact with on a whole new level. He has not to worry about having lunch or dinner and he is always near his role model to ask questions.
I would be lying if I said Blake was the only one adjusting well. I have to admit this life is suiting. The friendly aura and the sense of home was likable. It doesn't mean I lost my old witty self.
"Good then.... Attack!" I cried with a malicious laugh.
A deep battle cry rang from across the hall. The knight charged towards my base. His tooth brush swung back, ready to make a homerun.
I simply scoffed at his childish attempt and dodged the swipe. He stumbled forward in surprise of the miss and caught hold of his footing. A sigh left his lips once he realized no serious injuries were done. He knew he had to brainstorm another counter attack and quick.
His guard faintly fell. He glanced to the empty tiled bathroom, basically handing me the upperhand.
Stupid boy.
He fell to the carpet with a bang. Laughter escaped him while I began to tickle his sides. His chest vibrating underneath me. Each plead mixed with glee.
"Rarity, stop! Please," he fought through the amusement.
I shook my head continuing along with the unharmable torture.
"Mercy! I give up!"
"You really think I'll let you go that easy?"
Did he not know me? Honestly.
"What do I get for releasing you?"
He started to tap his chin, trying to pretend to be in thought. A small smile shared as he offered, "Another date?"
"When?" I asked with fake stern, trying to hide the excitement. Deep in my mind, I was freaking out like a preteen girl. It was disturbing for my personality but I was finding Benjamin enjoyable to be around. He was easily fun to pick on.
"Does tonight work? We'll leave after Blake goes to bed so you atleast get to spend time with him."
"Sure, no big deal." I shrugged.
