We hopped from roof-top to roof-top. The moonlight causally chasing after us. The shadows danced underneath our feet while the city grew brighter. There were million of lights that begun to decorate the bustling streets. Royal city glowed bright with aspiration.

It was no wonder why the city was known as the place of fortune and wealth. Fancy cars races at excelling speeds down the nearest highway. Many citizens, along the sidewalks, wore shiny grey suits. The revolving doors to the tall building continually spinning.

The noise was constant here. If it wasn't yelling, laughter rang. If it wasn't honking, sirens sang. This world was so different than the one I adored. Didn't these people know what silence was?

Navy Night caught me spacing off. He did a u-turn and came to where I stood. His hair wind blown and boots a bit dusty. The unusual expression set on his face already said enough. We were suppose to be serious yet I was memorizing the scenery. What could I say? He kept me locked away too long.

"Let's have a race!" I suggested with a smile.

He released a long sigh, "we don't have time. Remember we're here for business."

"I know, I know, I know but it's not too much of an emergency."

Dacio was most likely collecting Mary-Jane for the gang. If the dealer didn't give him any trouble then no bullets be shot. We had no need to panic.

"Rarity." He warned.

"Rarity? Who is that, Navy? Your beautiful girlfriend?"

He crossed his arms at the faux gasp and I couldn't help but feel smug. The irritation gave a pulse to my flame. It made me want to bother him some more.

Here we go, Homes. It's time to celebrate. Let's show this hero how to have a good time.

"Bet you can't catch me, Mister Night." I thew my jacket to the ground and ran to take action.

Without a single worry, I jumped on the thin edge. The empty alley looking so far down. It's pitch blackness uninviting but that didn't matter. I intertwined my shaking fingers and swung forward.

"RARITY!" Navy cried, outreaching his hand in hopes to grab mine.

It was already too late. He simply snatched nothing but thin air. The seconds passing between us while the pavement grew closer.

Every sense went numb. Each noise blended into a single buzz. The clarity enveloping in the form of a cold chill.

He was still yelling. His cheeks bright in frustration. He most likely had Quickie waiting to catch me but there was no need. I knew what I was doing.

I took hold of a steel balcony's bottom and dangled three feet above the closest trash bin. Thankfully, the lid had been shut for overnight. Highly unlikely, but somebody must have thought a beautiful heroine would need use of it shut to get down later.

Whoever that person was I give my deepest debt of gratitude, I thought while the two idiots begun talking at the same time.

"Do you need help getting down?" Quickie asked in a calm collected tone as his friend did otherwise.

"Rarity, are you okay......? Why isn't she answering? Oh no. Oh no. Oh god no!"

I clenched my teeth and sent a dark glare up his way, "will you stop calling me that! Secret identity remember? Or are you too much of a blockhead to remember that!"

"Blockhead." Quickie snickered, causing me to groan. He just had to comment.

"Shut it, Porn-Star!"
