"Rarity, you need to tell us what happen so he can get arrested." He said yet again this morning.
In hand he held a silver tray full of the usual foods: Belgian waffles, fresh chocolate sauce, strawberries, and pineapple. For the last couple of days he's tried to bribe me with delectables in hopes the tale slip off my tongue.
At first it felt nice to receive breakfast in bed. It was sickening to see his perfect face every seven am hour yet I grew accustom to it when the delicious smell of coffee followed him. It awoke each sleeping bone inside me happily yet he broke that excitement with that stupid beg to tell him what went down.
Could he understand I didn't want too? It's none of his business. The story belonged to me and all the emotions didn't need to be known by him also.
"Thanks for breakfast."
His nose scrunched up as he watched me take hold of the small mug and avoid his demands. Sucks to suck, I thought while taking little sips off the top to test it's flavor.
The taste my tongue got made my eyes widen. It wasn't the usual French vanilla creamer the two heroes kept instead it was cherry. My absolute favorite.
I glanced to the slight half smile on Benjamin's lips. His eyes softly watching me closely.
"I hope I put the right amount in. Half of a cup, right?"
Unable to answer I nodded. How did he find out? Was he stalking me? Did he serious have to be this perfect? He can't be normal.
"Yeah, it taste like the cup my father gave me each winter but how did you find it? They stopped making Poppet Creamer when I turned ten."
He leaned against the door frame rolling his eyes, "no they didn't. You just have to order it from the company now."
"That's got to be expensive." I commented quickly.
"It is," he shrugged. "But it was worth the amount to see the sparkle in your irises. Do you know when you smile your eye-lids narrow slightly."
"Stop buying us such pricey gifts! How do you expect me to pay you back later?"
"I don't. Everything you get while living here has no fee. Well except the items Finn forces on you but you already know theirs a price behind that."
"But-"
"If you feel like you owe me then tell me one thing."
I held a finger up, "not anything that has to do with Dacio."
"Fine," he sighed then sat the tray on the dresser. His fingers curled around my elbows a second earlier with a purpose. "Were you serious about our date?"
A blush grew deep in my cheeks and facing him strongly, I nodded. "Of course."
This made him smile larger. He looked like a young boy being told he won his first trip to Disney world. The reaction he gave was the one I felt should have been my reward.
Two lips dropped onto mine, stealing a kiss. The tenderness they had could drop any woman to her knees. Luckily, I wasn't a female who let the man win. A quick nip to his lower lip and quick nose nudge to his I ended first, pushing him to stand a foot away.
"Don't kiss me like that without warning."
His cheeks were a slight pink. He dug both his hands in his jean pockets, trying to seem relaxed yet it was obvious he was still joyful. That stupid grin on his face said so.
"It's not funny, Bennie-Boy! I don't know where your mouth has been. You could have cooties for all I know," I pointed out.
"Do cooties even still exist?"
