Omniscient pov

Nicki had dealt with difficult women before, but Beyoncé was in a league of her own. Or rather, they were.

It started with Giselle. Sweet, shy Giselle, who showed up at Nicki's doorstep with a bouquet bigger than her head and a diamond bracelet she definitely did not need to be buying for someone she'd only known for three months.

Nicki liked Giselle. She was soft, clingy in a way Nicki secretly adored, and always looking for ways to please her.

"Do you like it, baby?" Giselle asked, practically bouncing on her heels as she watched Nicki slip the bracelet on. "I had it custom-made! It has your initials and everything!"

Nicki glanced at the bracelet—platinum, glittering, absolutely excessive. It was so Giselle.

"It's perfect, boo," Nicki purred, watching Giselle melt at the praise.

If it had just been Giselle, life would've been easy. But the next day, when Nicki showed up at Beyoncé's place, it wasn't the shy, lovestruck girl greeting her at the door.

It was Sasha.

"What do you want?"

Nicki blew her breath, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. "What's with the attitude, Sash?"

Sasha crossed her arms, eyes cold. "Giselle is too nice to tell you this, but I'm not. You're playing her."

Nicki blinked, then laughed. "Girl, what?"

"You heard me," Sasha snapped. "She's buying you gifts, running after you like a lost puppy. She's gonna get hurt, and I'm not gonna let you do that to her."

Nicki cocked her head, amused. "Oh, so you're her little guard dog?"

Sasha stepped closer, a dangerous gleam in her eyes. "Say that again."

Nicki just grinned. Sasha was fun to mess with.

The real fun, though, came at night.

Because that's when Yoncé came out to play.

Nicki was still lying in bed, scrolling through her phone, when she felt hands on her waist.

"Miss me, baby?" a sultry voice purred into her ear.

Nicki's breath hitched as she turned over, immediately met with hooded brown eyes and that smirk.

"Ou yoncé," she whispered, already feeling her skin heat up.

Yoncé trailed a hand down Nicki's stomach, grinning. "Mmm, you do love when I come out, don't you?"

Nicki didn't even pretend to deny it. Yoncé was all flirtation, all heat, all hers.

But just when things were getting good, a soft whimper interrupted them.

Nicki turned her head and spotted the small, wide-eyed girl standing at the edge of the bed, clutching a stuffed bee.

Bumble Bee.

Nicki sighed, pulling away from Yoncé's grip to scoop up the little one. "Come here, baby."

Bumble Bee climbed onto her lap, snuggling into Nicki's chest as she mumbled, "Had a bad dream."

Nicki kissed her forehead. "It's okay baby. You're safe with me."

Yoncé huffed, rolling her eyes. "So now I gotta compete with the baby?"

Nicki shot her a glare. "Shut up, yoyo."

Yoncé just smirked, watching as Nicki cradled Bumble Bee like she was the most precious thing in the world.

Because no matter how much they clashed, no matter how many personalities came and went, one thing remained the same.

Beyoncé was hers.

And Nicki?

She was theirs.

The Next Day

Nicki woke up to the sound of soft breathing against her neck. A warm weight was curled against her side, clinging like a little koala.

Bumble Bee.

Nicki smiled sleepily, brushing a hand over the little one's curls. Bee always found her way into Nicki's bed at some point in the night, cuddling up like Nicki was her personal teddy bear.

"B, baby, you comfy?" Nicki whispered.

A small hum of agreement. "Mhm. Smell like strawberries."

Nicki chuckled. "That's 'cause I am strawberries, baby."

Bee giggled, but before Nicki could snuggle back into her, the door slammed open.

"Rise and shine, bitches!"

Nicki groaned before she even turned her head.

Yoncé.

"Y'all still in bed?" Yoncé teased, climbing onto the mattress and straddling Nicki's waist.

Bumble Bee whined, hiding her face in Nicki's chest. "Too loud, yoyo."

"Oh my bad girl." Yoncé rubbed Bee's stomach, then turned her attention back to Nicki. "Now you... we got unfinished business from last night."

Nicki smirked, hands trailing up Yoncé's thighs. "Oh yeah?"

"Mhm." Yoncé leaned in, lips just about to—

"Breakfast is ready!"

Nicki sighed. Of course.

Yoncé groaned, rolling off Nicki dramatically. "I swear Giselle got the worst timing."

Bumble Bee perked up. "Pancakes?"

"Probably heart-shaped, knowing Giselle," Nicki muttered as she scooped Bee up.

Sure enough, when they got to the kitchen, Giselle was standing there with a pink apron and the biggest smile, presenting a plate of pancakes topped with whipped cream and berries.

Nicki smiled. "You really went all out, huh?"

Giselle beamed. "I just love taking care of you!"

Yoncé groaned. "Girl, stop feeding her ego."

Giselle pouted. "But I like spoiling my baby."

Nicki smirked. "Y'all hear that? My baby."

Giselle giggled, feeding Nicki a bite. Yoncé rolled her eyes but stole a bite herself. Bumble Bee happily munched on her own plate, kicking her feet under the table.

For a second, everything was perfect.

Until—

"Why is there syrup on my counter?"

Everyone froze.

Nicki turned her head slowly, already knowing who it was before she even looked.

Sasha.

Arms crossed. Eyebrow raised. Already irritated.

"It's just a little mess, Sash," Giselle said sweetly.

Sasha shot her a look. "A little mess?" She pointed at Yoncé, who was licking syrup off her fingers.

Nicki sighed, preparing for the inevitable argument.

Because if there was one thing about Sasha and Yoncé...

They never knew how to get along.
