I slumped into a bean bag, biting into a slice of cold pizza with calculated ease, my eyes fixed on the glowing lines of code flashing across my screens. Ayaan's once-pristine studio apartment had transformed into a controlled chaos—cables tangled like a hacker's battlefield, coffee cups forming a caffeine graveyard, and multiple monitors pulsing with AI simulations.

Across the room, Ayaan sat at his cluttered desk, barely looking up from his pile of documents.

"I swear to God, Ayaan, Kyra Oberoi is a fucking national treasure. The world doesn't deserve her, and if those bastards bully her one more time, I will personally ruin their entire bloodline. So tell me—what exactly was my crime in breaking their faces?" I asked, flicking a pizza crust across the table before typing furiously.

Ayaan exhaled, flipping a page. "Shaurya, you have zero subtlety. What was it this time?"

I spun my chair lazily, pushing my reading glasses up my nose. "Oh, just some routine idiocy. But you know what set me off? She posted a sunset picture with Aiyanna Di."

Ayaan finally glanced up, blinking. "A sunset?"

I gave him a slow, unimpressed look. "Yes, you unromantic disgrace. But it wasn't just any sunset. It was golden hour. The lighting was immaculate. Her hair shimmered like something out of a Renaissance painting. And the caption?" I paused for dramatic effect. "'Some endings are beautiful too.'"

Ayaan raised a brow. "That could mean literally anything."

I scoffed. "It means she's secretly in love with me and expressing it through poetic subtext. Obviously."

Ayaan shot me a deadpan stare before flipping another page.

"Or she just liked the sunset."

I gasped. "How dare you insult my future wife's intellect? Kyra doesn't just 'like' things. She is a woman of depth, mystery—"

A loud knock shattered my monologue. I exhaled sharply. "If that's another insurance salesman, I swear I will hack into their company and replace every server with cat memes."
