Sorry school has been crazy and finals are coming soon so i won't have alot of time to post after this for a while.... sorry !!! --------------------------------------------- Zoe's POV

"You'll see..." Daniel stared at me with a weird look before he stiffened and turned away. What the hell was up with the cryptic answer! Plus the weird stare but I probably imagined the look. I have a tendency to over analyze things expecially when it comes to guys. " I can't just leave my car here."

I cringed thinking of leaving my baby here while I went god knows where with this drool-worthy douche bag. He gave me an annoyed look and sighed. "We'll come get it later." Finding no other excuse to resist getting in his car I hopped in the passenger seat.

Daniel was already on the drivers side by the time I got in texting away on his iPhone. Just as I buckled my seat belt my own iPhone vibrated and made the unique ping sound.

It was from my best friend christina. * Movies after school today?;)* Damn I really want to see that new movie G.I Joe too! Channing Tatum is Sexy! damn sexy isn't even a good word to describe him. Sighing i quickly replied. *Sorry babe got plans... Tomorrow?*

Realizing daniel had already pulled out of the parking lot and was headed toward the freeway. I noticed he didn't have a seatbelt on. He glanced at me after a couple seconds on my staring. "What?"

His full kissable lips pulled into a sexy smirk as he caught me staring. His bright blue eyes were mesmerizing . They were the same color as the sky with a darker blue along the rim. His dirty blonde hair was short but longer in the front. His blue hoodie was the same color as his eyes. His bulging biceps strained against the fabric. I had the urge to reach over and touch him, but kept my hands to my self and looked out the window.

"You should really put your seat belt on." He laughed quietly "Aww worried about my safety? Don't worry babe i'm a good driver." He winked and turned his eyes back to the road.

" It doesn't matter if you're a good driver or not babe, " I said in a sarcastic tone. "I've lost enough people to car accidents and don't need to add to that list." As traffic slowed to a complete stop, I shivered as the brisk wind started blowing.

I felt daniel's gaze burning a whole in the side of my head. Swiftly removing his hoodie, he tossed it in my lap and looked out his own window. I sat there in shock. Why was he being nice all of a sudden?

Oh this is probably more pity about the girl who lost her parents in the car accident. "I heard about your parents..... I'm sorry." He still didn't look at me but his back muscles were tense and his hands were balled into fists. I shivered again and slipped on his hoodie.

It smelled amazing and I had to restrain from closing my eyes and drinking in his smell. i glanced at him and caught the look of sympathy that seemed to be on everyone's face around me. "I'm tired of everyone's pity. People stare at me in the halls expecting me to break down right there. I'm stronger than people gove me credit for."

Fidgeting with the strings on the sweater he turns and our gazes lock. The blue pools seemed to swallow me whole and heat up my entire body. "You're weak. You couldn't defend your self from getting shadow marked." Our moment was officially ruined.

"So now you're a douche bag again great and what the hell is a shadow mark?" He ignored me and started texting again since traffic hasn't moved for the last five minutes. Not unusual for california though.

" whatever.." I mumbled and pulled out my headphones and blaring my music so i couldn't hear anything else. This guy drags me from school gives me his sweater when I am cold then starts being an ass. Guys are so confusing. Just as i started listening to the Xx my phone was pulled from my hand. What..... I glanced up to see him connecting it to the stereo with an aux cord.

"wait.. what are you doing?" He glanced at me but said nothing until the Xx's mellow sound streamed out his speakers, and he genuinely smiled at me.

"At least you have good taste in music." I was lost for words as two deep dimples appeared on his cheeks. They were so sexy but quickly vanished as he turned back to the road and started forward with traffic. I also notice he blucked his seat belt.

I smiled to myself as I checked my make up in the mirror. Bright violet eyes stared back at me. Black eye liner made then pop more than usual as my long, wavy black hair cascaded over my sholder. My eyes had always made me feel like a freak. No one else has them except for my family, and even then there are few of us with my illuminating violet eyes.

As a little kid I would get picked on for my weird eyes and as my mom why they I was so different from the other kids. She would kiss my tears away and smile at me lovingly. Her own violet eyes, a couple shades lighter than mine danced in the sunlight.

She would always say the same thing in italian. 'Bambino essere diversi non è una brutta cosa. E 'ciò che rende la nostra famiglia speciale, avrete sempre ad amare te. (They are just jealous, one day you will find friends who love you for who you are).'

Then she would kiss my forhead and take me out for ice cream. My chest tightened and my eyes stung at the momories, but I controled myself as we pulled up to a mansion. "woah...." I gazed up at the collosial buliding in awe. Please tell me this isn't his house. Daniel glanced at me for the millionth time and started laughing at my expression.

"Close your mouth you're drooling Zo." He called me by my childhood nickname making me tense dispite his smirk. "Don't call me that! Ugh let's just get this over with." I sighed and slowly got out of his car. Looking up at the beautiful house I realized my life was about to change to better or worse. Only one way to find out.....
