Forevermore: Chapter 12

"Let her think that..."

All I could do was stare at him. What happened to the guy that couldn't stand me and now he is flirting. I just don't get it. He jumped up and stretched.

"We should get going. We need to find the book so you can protect yourself and your sister."

My blood ran cold at the thought of bailey facing those hell hounds from earlier. No never!

"Do you need this back right now or do you have a shirt?" I stood up and glanced at daniel raising one eyebrow.

He just stared at me for a sec. "Uhh no." So I pushed him out the door.

"Zoe!" Well he wasn't staying while I changed. I grabbed my favorite grey neff beanie, a sweater, tights and some combat boots. Satisfied with my outfit I glanced in the mirror and noticed my eyes were more blue today, so I put on some eyeliner just to feel pretty.Hmm maybe daniel is affecting me more than I thought.

Grabbing my keys and walking down the stairs I immediately stopped when I saw him leaning against the rails.

His hair was pulled back in a black beanie makin it look really blonde. A grey and blue tribal sweater that I swear the blue must be the same color as his eyes. a black sweater over that. Lowrise jeans and black vans. A bright blue fire ball was rolling along his fingers with ease.

I melted right there and actually slipped on the step. His piercing blue eyes met me on the stairs and the fire froze and blazed so bright I thought someone would see it from down the street and he quickly snapped his fingers making it go out so my sister wouldn't come down stairs.

"You changed..." walking down the steps I came eye level with daniel and lost my train of thought as I was mesmerized by his stormy blue eyes and full pink lips. I couldn't help but raise my hand to his face and touch him.

He leaned into my hand and kissed my palm. "We should go firefly." He whispered and stepped back.

Shaking my head I finished walking down the steps and opened the door. "Yeah my aunt will be home soon. We need to leave before she gets back. "

I locked the door and didn't make eye contact with him until we got in his car. "sorry for that i don't know what happened." He glanced at me as he started the car and Smiled.

"It's ohkay i know i'm sexy." Ohkay the moment was ruined and i rolled my eyes. Jeez his ego is to much to handle.

"Where too?" I asked As we pulled out of the driveway. My curiosity was getting the best of my and a weird feeling was beginning to pool in my fingers.

"Your grandmothers house....."
