Forevermore: Chapter 8

"Daniel I believe she's heard enough for today will you please take her home and meet me in my office when you return. Meeting adjourned."

Zoe watched in shock as some of the member just vanished in a puff of smoke. Gabriel winked right before he

vanished in a haze of green smoke. .?

" you look like you're going to be sick zo, come on." Daniel looked at me with a worried expression but I was to numb to reply and just let him guide me back down stairs to a medical room.yu

"Sit please." He spoke over his shoulder as he looked for a specific bottle of pills.

So I'm a shadow hunter. Not to mention I have the same mark as my ancestor.. Ugh my head really hurts I don't know how much of this I can take.

"Here you'll feel better." Daniel said as he placed two white pills in my hand and a glass of water before pulling up a seat in front of me.

Downing the pills I silently hoped they would take effect soon. "Hey what were those by the way?"

Daniel shrugged and said "Benadry"

Ahh shit now i'm going to fall asleep in the car on the way back to the school.

Daniel's blue eyes seemed to stare straight into my soul for a second before he spoke. "I noticed your eyes get darker when you are worried or sad, what's up."

I sigh and fight to keep my eyes open. "Well besides the fact that i'm a shadown hunter! Benadryl make me very drosy so i apoligize in advance for when I fall asleep in your car."

He continues to examine my expression and nodds. "Yeah it's alot to take in. Just don't drool to much I just got it cleaned." He winked and smiles but I just groaned.

"Stop, please... First you hate me at school then you get pissed over this stupid mark on my neck then you force me to get in your car and make out with me in the bathroom? I can't take much more of this."

He sighs and pauses for a second to gather his thoughts. "If you haven't noticed the mark is gone since I kisssd you."

I jump up at that second and rush to the mirror and see he is right in its place is a hickey however. My sister will have a field day with that.

"So you kissed me to make the mark vanish?! that's all it was.." I knew it was too good to be true . Daniel's expression hardened and his eyes darkened from anger.

He suddenly put both of his arm on either side of the wall trapping me. I looked up at his now dark blue eyes and immediatly got lost in their color.

The smell of his cologne surrounding me didn't help either. Since all I wanted to do was lean forward and breathe in. But he slowly leaned down to whisper in my ear.

"I didn't make it go away zoe, it's a side effect of your mark I just activated it. I never do anything I don't want to." His husky voice made my knees tremble as he slowly kissed my neck down to my collar bone.

Ugh if he keeps it up I'll fall over. So I gladly reach my hands up and tangle them in his hair raising his face to meet mine. Our eyes started to change again and his changed into the blue star again and I was hypnotized.

My heart squeezed at how beautiful he is. His blonde hair was messy from my hands playing with it, His lips were pink and plump and his cheeks had a slight flush.

His eyes flashed sliver before he quickly spun around. "We have to go now!"

He grabbed my hand and quickly opened the window in the room and jumped down a story.

"jump i'll catch you I promise!" He frantically called out to me in the bushes and I closed my eyes for a sec.

He wants me to jump out of the window... If he doesn't catch me i'm killing him no question about it.

What the hell made him freak out so bad and what was the silver flash?! I sat on the ledge and quickly slid off before I could rethink it.

It was a split second before his strong arms were around me and his cologne surrounding me. He sighed for a second before letting go and heading around the front of the house.

I had no choice but to follow him He was my ride here plus he had the keys so i silently walke behind him.

Just as he turned the corner three huge dogs jumped in front of him. They were huge like a great dane but with the muscles of a wolf. They were a bright red in color with pitch black eyes and huge teeth.

Oh god now a dog is going to eat me alive. But before I could turn to run daniel pulled a marker out of his pocket and took the cap off.

It quickly turned into a glowing sword that looked like a light saber with black falling stars covering it.

The dog in the middle quickly charged daniel and I screamed as they fell to the ground.
