Forever more: Chapter 17

"WE'RE SOULMATES ZOE FUCK!"

My mind was reeling as I stared at him. Daniel's chest was heaving after his outburst. I couldnt comprehend how this beautiful stranger was my soul mate.

I'd lusted after him for sooo long and now he was mine.... No not just mine he's my soul mate. When I first met him it was like magic. I knew the second we made eye contact that he had to be mine no matter what. We never spoke though since he pretty much ignored me, I thought it was one sided.

"Zoe..."

He said it so resigned. His face was red and he was looking away out of the window. I couldn't see his face from my angle, but he looked so sad. As if he expected me to reject him and jump out of the car.

"I know."

I whispered surprising the both of us. The ring of purple fire in his eyes had simmered down to just a bright ring contrasting with the blue so beautifully my heart clenched.

" you know?"

His eyes widened and he leaned over to cup my face. His warm sweet breath from the waffles earlier plus his delicious cologne made me sigh and lean in.

"Yes I knew the moment I first laid eyes on you. You had to have been made for me."

He was quiet for a long time and I just looked down as I pulled away expecting his rejection. I must have read him wrong earlier.

"So did I... " I almost missed what he said when it started pouring rain. The noise of the rain bouncing off the car filled the silence.

"Why didn't you say anything?

His thumb passed slowly over my bottom lip. His eyes had started to glow again when he looked up at me through his long lashes.

"Because you were so innocent and too good for me. You had no idea about this world and I wasn't going to risk your safety."

I sighed and examined his beautiful face. Golden, sweet and apparently all mine.
Leaning into his palm as he slowly stroked my face I sighed. The longer I looked up at his beautiful face the faster my heart beat and the heat pooling between my legs.

The rain seemed to start beating harder on the hood of the car making us both look up. I pulled away and leaned back in my seat smiling. I reached into the back seat to grab out shirts and handed it to Daniel.

"We should get going it's starting to get dark." I said while clipping my bra and putting my top back on.

The confused look in his eyes made me smile slightly as I leaned over and pecked his sweet lips.

"This isn't the end of our conversation." I winked as I  pulled my seat belt back on and turned just in time to catch the cheesy big grin on his face.
" No it definitely isn't..." He smirked as he pulled off the dirt road to drag me to hell A.k.a my grandma's.

I know you guys will probably hate me for another cliffhanger as well as the huge delay and no matter how much I apologize it won't change your feelings. So I figured another chapter was the best gift.
