By the way, an idea of what Cezar looks like is on the side ====>

Cezar sat on the bed in his Swiss cabin and watched his beloved sleep off the effects of the drug. He stroked her soft cheeks and chuckled after realising that he could actually do that without fear of Lucius. The thought of his cousin sent a ripple of anger through Cezar but it was now weaker than what he had felt before he had Valentina. Cezar smiled as he realised that all those dreams he had of whisking Valentina away from Lucius has finally come true.

They could run away together and hide from Lucius. His cousin would soon grow bored and then give up before he sent his eyes on another female. Cezar moved his hand to feel Valentina’s hair and sighed at its softness. He didn’t care that Lucius had already Turned Valentina…Cezar would have to accept that. In fact, he didn’t mind as long as he married Valentina and become her eternal mate.

After 2 hours, Valentina’s eyes fluttered open before it looked around cautiously and then settling down on Cezar with weariness. She tried to get up but Cezar made sure to tie her hands and legs to the bed. He feared that his righteous lover would run back to Romania and do the honourable thing, which is to marry Lucius. Cezar grew proud of her because of that but he knew that she wanted to rid herself of Lucius. He knew that deep down she loved him ever since she saved him from Romanov many months ago.

Valentina struggled against her bounds and when it occurred to her that the effort was fruitless, she calmed and stared at Cezar. “What do you want, Cezar?” she demanded in her queenly tone.

“I just want you, my love”, he replied and stroke her cheek, making her flinched away.

After a while of heavy breathing, Valentina calmed and said evenly, “I chose to be engaged to Lucius. I chose to marry him. Cezar, the truth is…I love Lucius. Stop this nonsense.” At those words, Cezar coldly got up with his arms crossed and looked at her as if she was a misbehaved child.

“I see you have brainwashed yourself way too much”, he said sinisterly. “You have tricked even yourself to think that you love him and that he loves you. I tell you now that it is all a lie-”

“Cezar!”

“My love…for your own good”, he spoke louder. “I will have to keep you here to help you; away from the family and Romania because it will distract you.” And with that, Cezar walked out of the room and locked the door.

Three hours had passed and Valentina realised that Cezar mean to limit her blood intake to keep her energy down and prevent her from escaping. She listened to the quietness of the cabin and while she tried to figure out a plan of escape. She was growing weak and her brain was finding it difficult to concentrate. She needed blood and to preserve her energy, she relaxed a bit but was determined to not sleep. To make it worse, she felt a fever and cough developing; realising that Cezar must have travelled a great distance to the cabin and forgot to cover her from the cold. After all, she was only wearing jeans, a thin long-sleeve shirt and boots.

She had thought Lucius and her were going for a ride and spend a summer night exploring the forest and cliffs. Suddenly, a loud sneeze erupted through her and she began to shiver. Cezar immediately came into the room to investigate. Upon seeing her, he cursed himself and covered her with a blanket. An idea struck Valentina then and she looked pleadingly at Cezar.
