Between a Cook and an Agent

Third Person POV

Sanji, hidden beneath the shadows outside of Blue Station, was surrounded by marine soldiers and governmental officials. 

He had been tailing Robin's trail and now spotted her standing among the numerous men at the station. 

The cook pulled out a cigarette and took the opportunity to light it. "Bingo" He said with confidence.  

He watched as a short man with an extremely sharp nose speak lowly of Robin and snapped his men to "take her away".

He knew something was wrong with Robin and decided to part ways with Chopper earlier today. Sanji entrusted Chopper to notify Luffy and the others their conversation, in hopes that Robin can be saved. 

Additionally, Sanji was still thinking about his discussion with Nami. If it wasn't for her, he wouldn't have realized his true feelings for (Y/N). 

Before I can tell her my honest love, we need to save Robin first. 

Seeing Robin willingly leave with the government left Sanji a suspicious feeling that the woman was hiding something. He felt uneasy considering Robin's decision to not come back to the Straw Hats, especially when she stated "darkness in her heart". 

He couldn't understand where she was coming from, but the look in her eyes was telling to Sanji that she wanted to be saved. 

"Corgi-san! CP9 is here!" 

Sanji heard a marine soldier call out towards the shorter man and watched as a new group of individuals approach Blue Station. 

There, Sanji spotted four people, who gave off a strong aura. A deadly presence perhaps. He immediately noticed a large man holding two bodies over his shoulder. Then, there was another man with a glaring expression and a squared nose, it reminded him of Usopp. 

Amongst the four was an attractive woman whom does not seem as innocent as she probably looks. 

And then there was one particular individual who caught Sanji's attention. A man in the center of the group with a top hat and a pigeon on his shoulder. His eyes widened at the sight of (Y/N), handcuffed and walking alongside him.

"So that's Lucci?" Sanji was in disbelief to see the ventriloquist guy (Y/N) has been talking about. Yet, weren't these the individuals (Y/N) spoke highly of? 

Were these friends of (Y/N)-chan secretly part of the government? Why is she with them? Where are they taking her? 

It didn't sit well with Sanji seeing that (Y/N) is surrounded by the Marines. 

He remembered his conversation with (Y/N) back on the island where they bumped into Aokiji. Sanji recalled (Y/N)'s childhood history and how the Government changed her. 

Now it really didn't sit well with Sanji thinking (Y/N)'s arrest is potentially due to her past with her adoptive father. 

He observed his amours face and noticed the saddest expression on her. The look of despair, distress and defeat were telling to him. 

"Let go of me!" 

"Put me down!"

The two bodies that were hung over the larger man's shoulders spoke loudly. As the group walked past the shadowy alleyway Sanji was hiding, the cook realized that Usopp was one of the captives. 

"Where are you taking me!? You'll regret it you bastards!" 

Seeing Usopp now confirmed the seriousness of the situation to Sanji. 

Marines.

Government officials.

Robin taken prisoner.

(Y/N) being captive.

Usopp taken away too. 

He may not know the full story behind all this, but Sanji knew saving his friends and the woman he loves are top priority. 

"I need to act fast." Sanji spoke lowly as he blew out his cigarette.

Hello! It is I, Rin

I deeply apologize for taking such a long hiatus. It was longer than I intended. A lot of life changes has happened which consists of moving out, facing friendship grief (when you find out someone your significant other called a close friend of 10 years has SEVERELY wronged y'all and finding out they're a real piece of shit ain't pretty) and falling into the rabbit hole of not taking care of my mental health. I couldn't find the energy to write/update my stories but I want to make the effort of slowly reeling in more chapters and hopefully complete them.

Sorry if this chapter is way too short. Updates will continue to be slow but rest assured I have been editing here and there whenever I'm done with work or have more free time.
