We met in the new aged way,
fire ignited with each new secret, the details we gave;
The asking of the first of kiss,
parting the walls as you pressed my lips -
I am still at a loss of the ease you instilled,
grasped one another clearly with each layer un-pealed;
A love I've dreamt, yet had never known,
time has only greatly revealed as it's grown;
Just the other day, you caught my breath,
creating a stir,
simple words spoken –
yet, meant a great deal within my chest,heating within, you continuously incur;
Those spring-time eyes that found I swooned easily upon,
since the first –
to the vast nights ahead,
I lay in your arms....
holding on.
