Peter was abruptly propelled by a swift kick to his back, hurtling him through a thicket of dense bushes. He tumbled backward, his body rolling awkwardly until he came to a sudden halt against the rough bark of a tree. A pained groan escaped his lips as he struggled to regain his balance. Fighting against the disorientation, he glanced up to see Laura, also known as Laura, poised for another strike. Their confrontation had ignited when Kraven had dispatched her to confront him, but Peter desperately sought to quell her fury, hoping to reason with her. Yet the fire in her eyes made it all too clear—she was in no frame of mind for conversation.
"Just so that we are clear: You are the worst half-sister that I ever had," Peter groaned as he tried to regain his strength. "I mean if I had a nickel for every half-sister that wanted to kill me, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but odd that it's happened twice, rig- YIEP!"
Laura wasn't listening as she grabbed Peter by the leg and dragged him over where she then tried to stab him in the face. Peter quickly shifted his head to dodge the strike. Laura then tried to go at it again with her second hand, but she just missed him. Peter then got an idea as he kicked her upward, sending Laura flying into the air. Latching a web to her foot, Peter saw he was going to have to get her to let her anger out first.
Kraven was watching the entire fight from the cliffside and was awed at the fight. "Beautiful..."
Brooklynn and Kenji were still in awe and shock, and a little bit of confusion when they saw Ben standing there. He was last seen falling off the monorail, but that was easily weeks ago. And a lot has changed since then evidenced by his new attire and the grown-up Bumpy. Ben tossed the stick that he used to knock out Hap.
"Hey...?" Ben greeted.
Kenji wasted no time as he ran over and hugged him. "How? How? How?"
Then it was Brooklynn's turn as she ran over and hugged him. "Hmm."
That was when Hap groaned and got them to look back towards him. "Oh, right. We should probably deal with that." He then got to work and tied Hap up with vines, a skill he picked up over the weeks as he tried to explain what happened. "Fell off the monorail, got savaged by pteranodons, found Bumpy, survived in the jungle, met this new kid, I named her Laura as she didn't talk, defeated Toro, and then I overheard that fancy couple conspiring with this guy, Hap. So I figured you guys might need my help."
They were amazed to hear what Ben had been through. The guy who was worried about germs, and was here covered in mud and ripped jeans. He sure has changed a lot over time.
"Oh, hey, I still have your dork pouch," Kenji said, looking down to see it was gone. "What?"
"Oh, yeah," Ben revealed as he snatched it back. "I snatched it off of you earlier. But thanks for keeping it safe." He then picked up the cattle rod. "Could have used this while fighting ol' Toro, eh, Bumps?"
Brooklynn then interrupted him. "Ben, focus. We can get back to this whole 'new girl' in a minute. The couple, what exactly did they say?"
"Not too much, but they're definitely up to something." Ben shrugged. "Haven't even seen Laura since they arrived. "Hap has to be in on it."
"What about Kraven?" Brooklynn wonders.
"Who?" Ben asks.
"Guess you never saw him," Brooklynn guessed.
"Well, what do we do about him?" Kenji asks.
"I say we feed him to the Mosasaurus or the T. rex." Ben offered possible solutions.
