Peter looked out into the jungle and heard the dinosaurs screeching and thumping their way through it. His senses alerted him in almost all directions. The dinosaurs were worried about something, and something big was coming.
"If what you are saying is true, then..." Peter was trying to figure this out. "The others are in danger." He looked over to Kraven and saw whatever that potion or serum was, it was taking its time to heal Kraven's body. "Okay, we only have two choices. And I really don't want to leave you behind, so I need to take you with me. But if I do, I need your word you won't hurt me or my friends."
Kraven was breathing heavily as he looked over to Peter. "On my word as a Hunter... until this creature is vanquished, we have a pact."
Peter sighed and knew that was the best he could do and nodded. "Guess that'll have to do." He then ran over and grabbed Kraven. "Upsy-daisy." Then he ran off, making his way to camp so that they could hold down.
Brooklynn and Sammy were still looking at the destroyed chamber that was once holding E750. They saw that this meant that the dangerous creature was already on the loose.
"We gotta warn the others," Brooklynn said as they ran out of the facility.
Running outside, they were making their way towards the Gyrosphere but they saw the dozens of dinosaurs coming from the jungle kicking the Gyrosphere. Brooklynn and Sammy ran as they saw the stampede coming and watched the Gyrosphere being kicked around constantly. Seeing they didn't have much of a choice, they ran to try and wait out the stamp against a rock. They saw in the distance a brachiosaurus be taken into the tree sight, causing them to panic.
"Come on," Brooklynn said, not wanting to stick around. "Sammy. Sammy, come on!"
Sammy shrieked as a triceratops armed the rock by mistake trying to get away and she ran off. Brooklynn and Sammy fell into a ditch that they used for cover against the dinosaurs and made their way back to camp. But they didn't see that the V252, the last of the experiments, was crawling its way off into the jungle.
Back at camp, Laura was helping Darius pack up everything they were going to need for the ride back. He came across his field guide for dinosaurs book and opened it to look over all the creatures, and found an old photo of him and his dad.
"I know we still have another 12 hours until the patch on the boat is shipshape, but it seems totes be dry to me," Kenji stated as he joined them.
"Like how you thought it was last time?" Laura asked sarcastically.
"I really wanted to poke it to make sure, but I didn't." Kenji defended. "Restraint, yo."
"Trust me, I am using a much bigger restraint," Laura scoffed as she looked over towards Darius with a sorrowful look. "Are you okay, Darius?"
"Oh, nothing." Darius sighed. "I always meant to check out a Gallimimus for my... book, but never got around to it."
"Go now. Brooklynn and Sammy are off investigating a mystery with Peter, Yaz is on a run, and Ben's probably somewhere being weird." Kenji shrugged.
"Nah. I gotta get the supplies collected for the trip to Costa Rica." Darius said.
"I'll do it for you," Kenji said.
