Anything Could Happen

Ch. 4- Walking With "HIM" By My Side

OMG! I'm walking home with Brandon! Brandon! BRANDON!!! The most gorgeous/hottest/cutest guy in the whole school. Anyone would die if they even got the chance to talk to him! 

We started talking about basic things! He is really funny! Well, my house was at least 9-10 blocks away. I felt bad for him, well we are both Sophomore's in High School, so I think he can handle it. Yesha and Xavier also looked like they were having fun too! I felt happy for her. She doesn't really date that many guys... unless I approve! Yes... me! Because she doesn't want our Mom knowing. If I get to know Xavier a little more I guess I would approve it... even though it's awkward. 

While we were telling each other about our selves, he asked me for a pencil and a piece of paper then he smiled! Brandon J. Matthews smiled at me! I couldn't help but bite my lip and smile back. I didn't even think about NOT giving him that. We quickly stopped on a bench on our block and so did Yesha and Xavier in front of us. 

I put my book bag on the ground and I took out  my pencil case. I tried to take one out but my hand got stuck in there! OH NO! Great, the 2nd embarrassing thing I've done so far. I finally pulled my hand out. But, all the pencils came out. My day is not going that great today... Is it? Because everytime I'm doing something with Brandon... Something embarrassing happens to ME all the time! 

He helped me pick up the pencils (Isn't he a sweet-heart?)... then our hands touched. We looked up at each other and our eyes locked. Brandon was biting his lip. I just stared at his eyes. His beautiful, gorgeous eyes. Then... HE LEANED OVER!!!!!!!!!! 

He leaned over to TRY to kiss me... Oh. My. God. I. Just. Died. Right. There! But Xavier interrupted us! Oh... Great! I was just about to kiss the hottest guy in High School and a 7th grader interrupted us! 

Brandon gave a smirk and looked down at our hands touching. Since my hand was on top of his...

"Oh, Sorry." I whispered and took my hand off of his. As Yesha and Xavier walked toward us we knew what to do. We both just acted like nothing happened and continued picking up the pencils and pens. 

Yesha and Xavier just wanted to know what was going on over here. They started walking ahead when they knew we were done picking up the pens/pencils. 

Brandon picked up a pencil and took out a piece of paper while searching through my book bag. I didn't mind at all. He rapidly wrote something on the Notepad and handed it to me with his right hand and with his left hand, he put the pencil behind his ear.

The note said: "Dear Keesha, Will you go out on a DATE with me... this Saturday night?" 

He looked at my surprised face and knew I was about to say yes! There was no doubt in that. Then he said "Great Beautiful." He winked at me. "Pick you up at 8!" I just had this surprised look on my face beacuse of 5 things!

1. Brandon J. Matthews asked me, Keesha Parikh out on a date.

2. Today was Thursday and Saturday was coming up!

3. He almost tried to kiss me.

4. I had nothing to wear... SHOPPING! 

5. HE ASKED ME OUT ON A DATE!!!!!
