Anything Could Happen

Ch. 19- Not In The Mood

We were being picked up by Brandon. That's what I heard from one of my besties while we were walking outside on  my front porch. I started to think about the day when Brandon was walking me home! What a good day that was!

It was dark outside, even though it was a few minutes before 8. It was all muddy and damp because it rained an hour or two ago.

"Oh Shiz!" I heard a voice from behind me say... It was Gabby.

"I forgot my purse!" She continued speaking.

"Oh, I'll come with you to get it!" Allyssa said as they both ran inside. I'm surprised Allyssa didn't fall because she was wearing heels.

"Don't worry, Keesha! I'll stay with you, because I'm better and you know it!" Loren said from behind me as she sat on the bench. She took out her phone and started playing with it.

"Thanks!" I said as I was walking down the stairs. Clank! Clonk! Clomp! Clank! My black heels were making noise.  

Loren looked up from her phone as I took a little glare at her face. I could see her cell phone's brightness hitting her chin. She did look beautiful tonight!

"Wait! Keesha, honey, where are  you going? Wait until Brandon comes and the girls get back!" I turned around to see her talking as she patted the seat on the bench next to her.

"No... It's okay Loren." I said quietly.

"Ok, what ever you say!" Loren said. I knew something bad was going to happen sooner or later. Loren is smart and when she says that... she is ALWAYS right!

"Don't JINX it! I repeated in my head over and over.

I didn't here anything after Loren finished her sentence. It was silent until I finished walking down the steps.

I was now on the sidewalk. Standing there. Thinking about life when a car pulled up.  It was a red Corvette. And guess who was in the car?

"Fancy seeing you here!" Mackenzie said with a smirk. She was in the driver's seat with Brooke in the passenger's seat.

I just held my purse tightly wanting to strangle her so badly. That pretty little face of her is going to pop really fast!

"See you later!" She laughed very evil like. What did she mean by 'later'???

Just as she was about to drive away, when the girls finally came out because I heard the door open from way behind me. Mackenzie drove aways slashing down on my curb of the the driveway and splashing mud all over me and my outfit!

"OH MY FUCKING GOD! THAT BITCH IS GONNA DIE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. 

Loren, Allyssa, and Gabby ran down the steps and came to me. They starting hugging me and they didn't even care if they would get their dresses muddy or not. They are such caring friends. 

One of them ran inside and got some baby wipes and paper towels. I DIDN'T THINK THAT WAS GOING TO HELP! But at least some of the mud came off. 

Just as they were almost done helping me get cleaned outside on the sidewalk while waiting for Brandon, he showed up with a green van.

"Great! This is just my luck!" I whispered to the girls. They giggled. Not in the mood... NOT IN THE MOOD!
